Welcome to Corked Cottage nestled in a spacious wooded area across the street from the beautiful Cayuga lake 18 miles north of Ithaca, in the exclusive Sheldrake Area. Walking distance to O'Malleys Lakeside Tavern and Cayuga Shoreline event venue.

This lovely air conditioned home has two living areas, an up to date fully equipped kitchen, three nice size bedrooms and one newly renovated bathroom. It has a beautiful outside porch facing the lake and plenty of grassy areas for kids and games. You will also enjoy seeing the deer!
Down the driveway and across the street you have access to your own private dock for boating, fishing, swimming, etc.

Corked Cottage gives you easy access to the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails and the beautiful trails and falls in the area (Taughannock Falls State Park, 20 minutes north of Ithaca, 15 minutes from Seneca Lake and 30 minutes from Watkins Glen).

Great cozy cottage perfect for a girlfriend’s wine tasting birthday celebrating weekend. The house was in a good location, clean and cozy. Communication with the owner was easy as was check in and check out.

The house was great. The kids had a great time playing at the dock and playing with paddle boards. We loved the game room. All the homey touches were great ...coffee, the towels, linens, shampoos, etc. had all the essentials. We spent some time going to state parks locally which had great hiking and water falls. Would highly recommend!

This was the PERFECT spot to stay for a wine touring few days. Having the two restaurants with in walking distance was great and unexpected for the area. The dock access was perfect for the kids (not so close to the house that we need to be worried but not to far that it was a pain to get there). The house was really well equipped and the basement was a perfect sleeping spot for the kids. The porch was spacious and had a beautiful view. We would definitely if our travels ever brought us back to the area. Our host was very quick to answer any questions and were very kind to leave wine as a welcome gift. We had a wonderful time.

Property looks newly renovated and was very clean. House provided plenty of space for our group of 6 to spread out. Bedrooms were good size and the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the front porch, which has a decent (but semi obstructed) view of Cayuga Lake. House is positioned a good distance from road, which provides a good buffer from any noise along the street. The only ‘negative’ I could conjure is the property’s dock is located a short distance down the road, but guests still have access to the lake with a picnic table and the 3 - 5 minute walk from the house isn’t a big deal. This is just nitpicking on my part.Megan is very pleasant, easy to get ahold of and responds quickly when needed. She provided two bottles of wine from a local vineyard for our arrival, an unexpected gesture that was very much appreciated (and not something we’ve experienced at other rentals along the Finger Lakes).We’ll definitely look to use this property again the next time we visit Cayuga.

Wonderful place for our long weekend in wine country. Kitchen was nice and the bedrooms were spacious. Hosts left a noise machine which was great for my toddler. The dock area is well maintained and was good for some wading and setting off our kayaks. Covered front porch with the lake view was a great place to spend the night, and there's a big yard in the back with a firepit that my toddler had a great time running around in. We even found some wild blackberry patches which my son was stoked about!Great rental and would definitely use again.
