Our family rented this cabin over Memorial Day weekend. The positives: check-in and check-out process was user-friendly,& the host was professional.However, upon entering the cabin, we discovered that the central air was not working on the main floor & in the upper master bedroom. Both sofa beds — one on the main floor and one on the lower level — had not been cleaned. When the beds were pulled out, there was hair, crumbs, & trash present. The leather on the downstairs sofa bed was also very worn and peeling, making it unsuitable for sitting or sleeping.The overall cleanliness of the cabin was disappointing. There was visible dust& trash in various locations, particularly in the main living area. The bedrooms on the main floor also unprepared, as there were no face towels provided in either room.The hot tub was not working, and the light near the hot tub area was also out. Housekeeper came to clean . After several hours dealing with the heat, a maintenance person arrived to repair the central air and inspect the hot tub. He was able to get the air working, but the hot tub remained out of service.On the second day, things went smoothly until late that night when the central air stopped working again while we were sleeping. Maintenance returned several hours later, & was able to fix the central air, hot tub, and hot tub light.We did receive a partial refund, which was appreciated.Overall, the cabin itself is beautiful and has great potential if updates are made .
