Our stay was excellent! The host was responsive and helpful throughout the booking and stay process. The apartment is clean and well appointed. Our son (9) appreciated the Nintendo Switch that was available for his use during our stay. The beds and couch are very soft! While the neighborhood may have been slightly sketchy in the past, it was quiet during our stay.

Great place to stay

We stopped on our way to South Carolina for the night. It was in a great location - quiet neighborhood. The host was always available when we had questions - no matter how big or small. He had recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. He thought of everything from coffee station to toiletries you may have forgotten. In a good location to the highway. This is a great place to stay for the night or for an extended stay.

Part of why I’m building this small property portfolio is so it can eventually give back — opening doors to clean, beautiful places for lower-income families or homeless vets who deserve a moment of dignity and comfort. Beyond that, I’m just a down-to-earth guy who loves thoughtful design, a smart layout, and adding little unexpected touches that make you smile. You’re only 18 minutes to the Vista and all its restaurants, under 20 to the zoo, 24 to Fort Jackson. But back here, you get to hit reset.

I love the mix here. It feels authentic — real people, neighbors who wave from the porch, and a neighborhood that’s growing in the best way. You’re not stuck in a sterile strip of chain hotels; you’re in a genuine slice of West Columbia.
