This is a private neighborhood with no visible homes from the structure, along a very lightly traveled rural road. The A-frame sits about 120 feet from the Geodome in thick woods, which you can't see except in the winter. The tranquil sound of the creek will relax you. Occasionally, neighbors may fish the parking lot/waterfall area only. This is where the State releases trout.
The parking lot is about two miles or 7 minutes off Highway 421 South. The drive in is beautiful! You'll see a sign for Fall Creek Retreats and the address on a 19"x24" yellow and black sign. It's a pretty flat gravel road and parking lot with parking for up to 5 cars.
We have 2 other glamping sites available to rent in the glamping area. Each is private, on the creek, separated by 150 feet of woods and a full size cabin (400 yards away upcreek).

It was a very peaceful stay. Cute little A frame has all you need. The sound of the river, the fire pit, and being able to open the A frame wall made it a fun, cozy and relaxing stay. Good for dogs as well, mine had a blast.

The A Frame was great for our weekend getaway! We only stayed two nights during a cold front so the shower being frozen/not working was not really an issue. They provided a free bundle of wood which was so great and even though we brought all cooking utensils for our stay, they had everything you would need! We did not use the WiFi as it was nice to be offline for the time we were out there. Would definitely stay again!

Great views, beautiful property. Easy access to town, and wonderful amenities, dog friendly! This specific location did not have great access to the WiFi but for our stay that was not an issue for us personally. We enjoyed the unplugged time. Thanks for having us!

This was an amazing glamping trip. All the perks of camping without having to tote the supplies. Paul checked in several times and was beyond helpful. This was my first time traveling alone. I came right when the nights got cold and the propane heater was a lifesaver. You can’t beat the blue ridge mountains in the fall. Absolutely breath taking for me and my pup. Lots of pet friendly activities/restaurants near by.

À propos de l’hôte
Hôte : Paul
This is a family property with a total size of 122 acres. We built a cabin on the property that was completed in 2000. In 2023, we decided to build a glamping area with three sites, all right on the creek. Paul, the owner/manager, has been coming up to our mountain getaway since he was a child. We wanted to build a private, relaxing glamping site that others could enjoy. We continue to add new amenities like WIFI and a hot shower room in 2025.
Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement
Our property has a little of everything; privacy, mountains, creek and surrounded by forests. It's easy to get to, only seven minutes off Highway 421. We only have three glamping sites, each separated by 150 feet of dense woods, so never large crowds. Easy to get to area and great spot to relax and unwind.
