Great family unit with great location

stayed for Christmas vacation, Close to Hollywood Board Walk, Hard Rock Stadium and BBT Arena, Sawgrass Mall and Aventura Mall. Room was well laid out and clean

First VRBO stay

Great views, the pool is nice, staff friendly great first VRBO stay... Only issue was Valet parking. The staff was prompt, service was fine... But the logistics of moving groceries, a case of water... Didn't feel proper to be lugging that through the lobby area.

Water and air off for two days. Only 4 elevators for 41 floors, long waits &overcrowded pool seats.

Hollywood Beach VRBO

I was disappointed with this property. It didn't live up to the last VRBO property at which I stayed in Pompano Beach. A number of amenities at the property were disappointing! For example, the lock on the safe was broke. Also, there was about a 5 block walk to get to the "free" beach umbrella and chair which is past ridiculous.

Great Condo- Beautiful view- Terrible Property Management

We really enjoyed the condo, it was clean and had the most amazing view of the ocean. The building itself is run terribly. The elevators take forever (The condo is on the 34th floor and we walked down a few times b/c we waited so long for the elevator) The Valet parking also takes forever to get your car. Both the pool and beach do not have enough chairs for the property and people line up at 9 to put towels down and then leave, leaving no chairs for the people who are actually present. The extra fees also add up, so calculate them into your budget. The valet is expensive, as are the resort fees. However, it was all worth it for the view from the balcony!

The property has potential but not at this time

I was extremely disappointed with the management of this property. Upon arrival, the valet had it all together for our vehicles. The check in process inside was horrible. There were many people in line, some were having problems with their reservations, which apparently were not set up correctly by the management company. There were some people just standing around behind the counters doing nothing except tell you that someone will be with you shortly. It was a bit frustrating. The unit itself was fairly nice and roomy. It was mostly clean although we found a pan in the cupboard that had what looked like dried scrambled eggs on it. It was rather disgusting. The ice maker did not work. The dryer was missing the timer knob so it was impossible to dry anything. The towels were subpar and there were no washcloths. The worst part about all of this was that there was one full day of bad weather. No one's fault. The next day it rained until around 11am. When we went down to the beach the "VRBO" side of the chairs and umbrellas, which are in front of the building next door, were not being put out, but the hotel guest side was. We were not able to sit in those chairs. We paid a resort fee for 4 days and were only able to sit on the beach for 1 of those days. Not sure what the difference was between the 2 "chairs and umbrellas," but if I am being charged a fee, I should be getting the service. I paid a good amount of money to stay here, but will not be staying here again.

Très bel endroit

L’appartement est très bien situé. Il est spacieux et à distance de marche de la plage. Toutefois, c’est très difficile de communiquer avec l’hôte. Nous étions 6 personnes, l’appartement est prévu pour 6, et il n’y a que 4 chaises à la table. Nous en avons demandé 2 autres mais nous n’avons pas eu de réponse. Il n’y avait pas tout ce qu’on a besoin pour cuisiner et nous n’avons pas eu de réponse à nos demandes. Bref, c’est un bel endroit, mais la communication est très difficile.

The location and view of the unit was great, but the condition is much more run down than pictures show online with heavy wear and tear . My guess is the owner hasn't physically been to the condo in years. They had to send a maintenance person to the unit 2 times because the door handles kept falling off bedroom and bathroom doors and the threshold into the primary bath was completly disconnected. They were supposed to give me a headsup when maintenance was coming, but they came both times when my 13 yr old daughter was in the unit alone. There was also no checkout procedure sent and I did not get a response when I reached out.

Memorial Trip with Family

We rented the property for 4 nights to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. There was plenty of room to invite her Grandma's as well. We read many poor reviews after booking and honestly a little nervous when arriving. We were pleasantly surprised, the check in process was as smooth and representatives of the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The building has 40+ floors, but with patience, it didn't seem too long especially if you planned it right. The room had amazing views and the 2 bedrooms worked great. Items missing that would be ideal, dish cloth, dish towel and hot pads. Dishwasher and washer and dryer were a good addition to the space. Valet is the only option with car and a bit pricy but those employees do a great job and have a well run process of getting you your car. The resort fees that included the pool towels, chairs and umbrella were well worth it for the umbrella alone. You can now find this right outside the resort before heading to beach. The gentleman that brings these to the beach and set up you umbrella is a gem. He works his tail off with a smile. We weren't able to get towels one day at beach but it was so warm, they weren't really needed. We never used the pool, the large pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing that we were not told ahead, but the beach was so great we found that we would rather be there daily anyways. Unfortunately, we missed eating at the restaurant but if my husband and I return, we will sure to hit a happy hour or two. Thank you for the opportunity to give my daughter and her grandmother's a very memorable vacation away. Once in a lifetime trip to talk about for years.
