Bienvenue dans ma cabane en cèdre de la ville. Cette maison très éclectique a de la personnalité où les voyageurs seuls peuvent s'échapper ou les familles peuvent apporter leurs enfants.

"The Coffey Grounds" est au milieu d'Austin !! Vous donne l'impression d'être à la montagne mais avec tout le luxe d'être en ville. Marchez vers des tonnes de restaurants incroyables. Il y a une terrasse au deuxième étage dans la cour arrière où vous pourrez profiter du lever et du coucher du soleil.

Les clients apprécieront toute la maison, la cour et la terrasse couverte à l'étage. Le garage et les studios à l'arrière seront verrouillés et aucun accès ne sera accordé. À l'intérieur de la maison, j'ai couvert des zones qui sont des vêtements et des effets personnels, mais il y a beaucoup de place pour ranger vos propres articles.

Situé à Brentwood, il est à seulement 4,8 km du centre-ville et à moins d'un pâté de maisons de l'arrêt de bus.

I wish I had more time!! Everywhere I looked was something so fitting and unique. I eventually saw all the vintage cameras in the crossbeam above kitchen table! I have one of those! So, if you will host me again, I’d love to come back and really see the art house you have built!

Great Austin getaway

The cabin was perfect. It embodies coziness, uniqueness, fun times and a break from the outside hustle and bustle, a great way to know Austin. Plenty of room and comfy beds, good location too. Restaurants and shops with in walking distance.

Easy access, cool, and convenient

We had a great time with four friends. Cool place with all the personal art and mementos. Really only two bedrooms, though, so best for a family or two couples. Couches were comfortable enough!

Old Austin Lives!

Carolyn’s unique home made for an unforgettable girls weekend! We enjoyed spending our evenings in the backyard or in the cowboy pool! The house is full of treasures everywhere you look and gives funky, charming old austin vibes. Carolyn was very responsive when we needed anything and checkout was super easy. The house is also walking distance to some great restaurants and a cheap uber trip to downtown. Thanks for a great stay!!

Wild, crazy and fun place with lots of lights, color, owner art and creative touches everywhere. Great location, great communication with owner. Four guys found it comfortable—one in each of two bedrooms, two on couches. A second bathroom would have been nice, but you gotta run what you brung.

Best rental home to date!

I’ve visited quite a few rental homes over the past 8 or so years, and this one has been hands down the best. It’s loaded with charm and entertainment, tips and guides to explore the city, plenty of space to spread out with our family of 4, and walking distance or nearby driving distance to everything we needed. My 4 year old was sad to leave “the cottage” (his words) and is looking forward to our next visit!

This Place Has It All!

Had to make a quick trip to Austin due to a medical procedure and needed to be centrally located. This charming, cozy cabin right off of Burnet Rd gave us easy access to the medical facility as well as plenty of dining options and easy access to Mopac to make a quick trip to Zilker Park. And we really didn’t need any other activities as the cabin is so fun and unique you could spend hours just looking at all the interesting objects and art on display and play one of any number of board games that are available. There was plenty of room plus a large inviting family room to hang out in. We absolutely loved it and hope to go back!

Better than we even imagined!

It was spectacular! There were treasures everywhere you looked and so many options to visit with family! We did our daughters birthday toasts in the second floor patio and had our appetizers and cake under the pergola with lights! The place is amazing, clean and Carolyn was so easy to communicate with! I want to return again with friends!

Weekend get away

Love booking unique properties, and this one certainly is. Loved the house, all the cool decor. Location was perfect for us. Also got to try a cowboy pool. The yard was great place to relax, at least early in the morning before it got too hot to be outside. The house is well equipped, kitchen had everything you need. Only thing is it has a small bathroom, not a problem for us but might be for some. Host was very responsive, and very patient with some of my questions. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Our stay at "The Coffey Grounds" was absolutely phenomenal and exactly what we needed for our trip, especially since our primary purpose was attending ACL. After long days at the festival, returning to this property was a true retreat.The interior is incredibly inviting. We immediately appreciated the comfort of the main living room's sitting areas, but the true highlight is the home's aesthetic—the art and decor were astounding, giving the space a unique and inspiring personality. We also found the practical amenities wonderful, especially the generous fridge space and the supply of kitchen utensils, which made meal prep and late-night snacking easy.The outdoor spaces are just as charming. We loved spending our evenings outside talking in the cooler weather. We were also delighted by the beautiful outdoor plants, particularly the passion vine! While we didn't utilize the very cute upstairs outdoor bed, it added to the overall charm and multiple seating options.Finally, the location is unbeatable. Being so centrally located to our favorite Austin spots was a huge convenience, and having stellar eateries like Citizens Bakery and the Austin Diner within walking distance made mornings and quick meals effortless.If you are looking for comfort, style, and ideal proximity to everything Austin has to offer, look no further than The Coffey Grounds. We highly recommend it and hope to visit again soon!

A Memorable Stay at The Coffey Grounds

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Coffey Grounds with my 14-year-old son for a quick trip to Austin over Labor Day. Our goal was to spend quality bonding time, and this property exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, I must commend the owner, Carolyn, for her warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home. Carolyn thoughtfully provided us with a list of fantastic recommendations for activities in the area. Her suggestions included kayaking at Zilker Park, dining at The Domain, and catching a movie at The Alamo Drafthouse. Being out-of-towners, her local insights were invaluable, and we had a blast following her advice. The Coffey Grounds is truly a one-of-a-kind property. It exudes an eclectic and cool vibe that is difficult to capture in photos. Exploring the property felt like an adventure in itself, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time discovering its hidden treasures. The property was not only visually appealing but also exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies, ensuring we were well-rested for our Austin adventures. In summary, our stay at The Coffey Grounds was an unforgettable experience. Great stay!

We had a wonderful experience. The home is in a great central location. Was perfect eclectic stay! We enjoyed sitting outside. Will say the tv without a remote is not easy for someone who is not tech savvy.

Awesome party house

We threw out 1 year old her first birthday party here and it was a hit with all the guests. Would love to rent it every year for kids party. The trampoline was perfect too!

I grew up in Oak Hill, which is now Austin, but back in the 60s it was country! My horse, dogs, cats, chickens, and lamb were my best friends. The cedar trees were my home until it got dark and I had to go in the house. When my parents sold the house, I asked to take down my favorite cedar trees, They now hold up my front and back porch at The Coffey Grounds! I am a mother and an artist. Restoration of old photographs is my passion! I used teach Photoshop at ACC and now I pull cactus at my country land and build. I remodel houses and travel trailers. I can drive a Bobcat as well as my truck. I'm stronger than I look!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This was supposed to be just a starter house. My oldest son was 5 months old and I knew it would be just him and me for awhile. All I wanted to do is buy a house and work out of my house so I could raise him. So I did. Then the house became my art project and mental therapy. I fell in love with remodeling and couldn't stop. Long story short, this is no ordinary house. Our memories are literally stuck in some walls. I don't take pictures down or hide the art. I do give our guests room for their own treasures so you will feel welcome in our humble abode.
