Summary:
Our 2-bedroom apartment is fully furnished and perfect for a comfortable stay. It’s got a kitchen if you feel like cooking, a bathroom to freshen up, and reliable Wi-Fi. The location is spot-on, close to all the cool spots – cafes, shops, and easy transport. Whether you're here to unwind or explore, it’s a great base to do both.

The Space:
The living area is inviting and comfy, with a sofa to kick back on, a TV to unwind, and a dining table for meals or hanging out. The kitchen’s fully stocked with all the appliances and essentials you’ll need, whether you're cooking a quick breakfast or a full dinner.

Both bedrooms come with cozy queen-sized beds, so you can rest up after a day of sightseeing or work. There's also one bathroom, and WiFi throughout to keep you connected. Our apartment is in a great location, close to everything you’ll want to explore, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your time.

*Be advised: Our place is near the train station, so you might hear trains occasionally. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs to sleep more comfortably.

Situated in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, within the vibrant Lake View East area, this location is celebrated for its lively atmosphere, diverse dining scene, and close proximity to Lake Michigan. The neighborhood blends historic charm with modern conveniences, attracting both locals and visitors. Nearby dining options include favorites like Scooter’s Frozen Custard, Frasca, and Paulina Market, catering to a range of tastes from casual snacks to fine dining.

Getting Around:
Public transit options are convenient with the Brown, Red, and Purple CTA Lines and nearby bus stops within walking distance, providing quick access to downtown and other neighborhoods. The area is very walkable, with coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and boutiques close by. Divvy bike stations and the scenic lakefront trail offer great biking opportunities. Street parking is available, though some areas may require permits, and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily accessible.

Our stay was fantastic. The place is cozy and the beds are very comfortable. There are full length mirrors in each room and the hallway so getting ready is very easy! Communication with the host is fast and reliable. We had an amazing time!!!

Awesome location, easy walk to everything. Convenient to transit (brown, purple, red lines.) Comfortable and spacious unit. Responsive host. We heard the trains, but were not bothered by them. I would definitely stay there again!

Exactly as pictured in the listing! Clean and nicely furnished. Close to great bars and restaurants. Walkable to train stations, Lincoln Park, and Wrigleyville. It is right by the train (as disclosed in listing), but the owners provided earplugs and white noise machines in both bedrooms. Highly recommend!

It was a great location for my friend and our two daughters! Walkable to many shops restaurants. Very safe! It is literally RIGHT NEXT to the train, but the provided ear plugs and constant running AC helped. I would recommend that you get a new couch. Not comfortable at all ... there wasn't really anywhere comfy to hang out after a long day of walking. Chairs on the patio would have been nice, too. We ended up bringing out the chairs from the kitchen.

Great weekend with great communication from hosts

Had a great weekend! The listing is accurate and is in a great location! We did have an issue with one room because of a storm from the night before, but I contacted the hosts and they responded immediately and fixed the problem within a few hours. I would recommend this rental to friends and family!

Great Weekend in Lakeview

We had a great weekend visiting family in the area. The apartment was clean and comfortable with window A/C units throughout. The kitchen and living area had everything we needed and bedrooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Location was great within walking distance to the train, great restaurants and bars and the lake. There were even ear plugs provided for light sleepers that were concerned about noise from the trains. Would definitely stay here again.

Great experience overall. Check-in was easy and the unit was very well kept. Very happy that we were so close to so much public transportation. It is a little noisy for those who aren’t used to hearing the L train nearby. Parking is hard to find, but there is paid parking nearby and easy to access public transit. If you plan on parking your car for the full time you’re there.

Host was very responsive and pictures were accurate. We only used one of the bedrooms and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well outfitted. Biggest issue was the proximity to trains that are a stone's throw from the unit. Even with ear plugs, the noise from the trains made it difficult for me (a very light sleeper) to sleep. Otherwise, the location is great - near lots of shops and restaurants and a playground on the same block for families with young children.

Neighborhood Apartment

The video explaining check-in was very helpful. The apartment had a three air conditioning units so it stayed cool. Parking was available near the unit during the day, but a city permit was required at night. SpotHero helped us find a place to park overnight. The CTA was easy to access places we wanted to go.Note the property description. The L passes by the unit regularly 24 hours a day and it is LOUD. Earplugs provided were helpful.

Location, quality, and communication

The location of this property is fantastic. Easy access to Lake shore DR, and I-90. It’s within walking distance from Wrigley and the L. This property is easy to locate and check in was streamlined. The property its self was perfect. Beds were comfortable, cleanliness was second to none, and property was updated. However, what made this stay stand out to me was the communication from the host. They went above and beyond to ask questions and ensure that my stay was up to their standard of completely satisfied. If your traveling by your self for business, with your family, or with your partner and another couple heading into the City for a game at Wrigley, this property checks all the boxes. 12/10 would stay again.

Very difficult to actually get in the property. Three separate sets of keys/lockboxes to deal with. The property is clean and nice enough but it is right next to a rail line and it is unbelievably loud, nearly impossible to sleep. Additionally before we stayed I was asked for multiple pictures of myself and my passport. I have never had that asked before.

Noisy but nice

I think we may have been one of the first people to rent this unit (or it just feels like it), as it was equipped with the barest of essentials. E.g. no tissue paper, way to make a proper cup of coffee, soap or shampoo in the shower, hangers, bathroom hooks, and minimal towels, blankets, pillow options, etc. Hopefully the owner will progressively work to add some elements of hominess. But it is indeed a clean and fresh, well-decorated (as if for a home showing), and somewhat roomy apartment in a nice apartment building in a very fun and safe neighborhood in Chicago with plenty of eating/drinking options and very close to a train stop. The owner stated: “so you might hear trains occasionally”. This is an understatement indeed. We were not quite ready for the roar you’ll hear at a frequency of about every two or three minutes. Light sleepers need not apply. Entrance was a bit complicated, requiring the entering of three different codes, but the owner was very communicative and available for help if needed. All that said, the apartment worked out perfectly fine for my family of three.

The apartment was lovely. Clean. Large kitchen. Comfortable beds. Check-out was super easy. And it was located close to DePaul and other nice Lincoln Park spots. Would stay here again!
