Deluxe Aircraft Hangar Mid-Mod Design Next to Smoky Mountains!

Getaway to our redesigned aircraft hangar adjacent to the Smoky mountains and be right next to our working flower farm! Terminal 1344 is a 2 bedroom open loft space that once functioned as an actual aircraft hangar! We worked to maintain the original character, keeping it modern yet cozy with warm mid-century decor + open ceiling layout!
This space boasts an open floor plan with 15 foot ceilings and plush and cozy king and queen size bedrooms. There is a large parlor and bathroom space for getting ready. Our open kitchen features every appliance and bar tool you could need to make a meal or prepare cocktails with your guests. Perfect space to entertain or hang out as a family!
Feel free to settle in to the sofas and enjoy your favorite Netflix/Amazon
shows. Or go outside and enjoy the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains, across our own flower fields and onto the private airstrip that is adjacent to our property. From time to time you will actually see our neighboring pilots taking off or landing with their aircraft.
Feel free to explore our 6 acres of property including a pond, fire pit, outdoor pavilion and our professional flower fields where you will see the team cutting fresh flowers daily! We offer flowers for sale seasonally at our farm stand if you would like to take some flowers home with you! We can't wait to show you our little slice of heaven! Just ask! We LOVE to give tours!
The property is completely hidden from all streets and the surrounding neighbors by our bamboo forests. It is a wonderful venue for those who desire privacy.
Five of our pups are routinely playing outside so you may encounter a furry greeting crew that is very eager to meet you! Please let us know if you are traveling with small children. The pups LOVE children but sometimes the swirl of wiggly fur is a bit too much for little ones. We will try to bring them indoors before you arrive.
We are conveniently located 30 miles to Knoxville & Great Smoky Mountains National Park. McGhee Tyson Airport is just 10 miles away!

Chose this property as a “cool” place for me and my 17yo car/motorcycle-loving son to experience Tail of the Dragon. Great location for that, SUPER clean, fun decor, VERY comfortable beds. Had everything we needed!

Very nice place to stay. Cool little Air B&B to stay at. They have some fur babies that come to greet you or come to the door to look in on you. Will go back again if we are going in that area. Not far from the Smokey Mountains.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This place was so wonderful. The owners were so nice and inviting! The property is beautiful. The hangar was very clean, smelled wonderful, and had about anything you might need. Their dogs are also wonderful and greet you when you get there with tails wagging! I highly recommend staying here!

Very cute and unique property that was clean and well stocked. The host was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect. It had a secluded country feel but was just a few minutes from any store or amenity you can think of. When we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again!!

Terminal 1344 is not only a very unique place to stay (especially for aviation enthusiasts) it is comfortable and the hosts very accommodating. Everything is clean, and the beds are so comfortable. The fur babies on the property are so sweet and well behaved. Having them around just made it even more like home. It was a wonderdul experience. We spent Thanksgiving with our son, his wife, and our granddaughter. The kitchen was stocked well enough that we were able to cook our own Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you so much.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the hangar. Even though it’s a little off the beaten path, we had no trouble finding it when we arrived after dark. The owner’s five super-sweet dogs stole our hearts when they greeted us the next day.The place is clean, spacious, and decorated in a fun, funky, industrial style. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are large, and the bedrooms are roomy with comfortable beds. A couple of things to note: the bedrooms have open ceilings, the bathroom door is more like what you’d find at a campground (open above and below), and two windows and the French doors don’t have blinds—so privacy could be an issue. Also, we could hear voices in the adjoining work space at times, but not before 9:00 a.m. or in the evenings, so it didn’t bother us.Overall, it was perfect for the two of us, and we give it 5 stars.

This guest had an emergency with family and had to cancel. Richard did not stay at the property at all. We welcome him to try us again sometime!
