Construite en 2012, cette maison de vacances (2 Ă©tages) comprend 4 chambres Ă  coucher et 2 salles de bains. 5 salles de bains avec un grand porche et deux entrĂ©es. Il y a 3 lits queen en haut. De plus, il y a un futon en taille rĂ©elle dans la chambre Ă  coucher. La chambre du bas a un grand canapĂ©-lit, qui peut ainsi ĂȘtre utilisĂ© en tant que coin salon sĂ©parĂ© pour les enfants ou les adolescents. La chambre du bas a une salle de bain complĂšte avec baignoire et douche et sa propre entrĂ©e privĂ©e et terrasse. Cette maison est d'environ 1400 pieds carrĂ©s. CĂąble et Wi-Fi prĂȘt avec un systĂšme de sĂ©curitĂ© surveillĂ©.
Cette maison a tout le confort de la maison (batterie de cuisine, serviettes et draps); apportez simplement vos objets personnels et vos courses. Barbecue au charbon de bois et foyer à bois, table et chaises sont également fournis pour les repas en plein air. Laveuse et sécheuse sur place. Comfortable, cozy. Central location.

The home was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The location was a relaxing bike ride away from the main beach. Located in a centralized area for main attractions- VA Beach, Sandbridge, Norfolk. Owner was very helpful answering my questions leading up to and during our stay. Everyone in our group loved the home and enjoyed our time their during our stay.

We have always stayed in the smaller house, which is a great house, but the owner recommended we stay in the larger one this summer. We have 2 moms each with a son and daughter. The kids loved this house. It was a great stay as always.

Spacious House! Close to the beach

I stayed here with my family and a few friends for a beach festival. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. The house was also very clean and the host was responvie all weekend. An uber to VA beach was about a 5 min ride and the walk was about 25 min. Great location!

Everything we needed

We were stationed in Norfork before and were looking for a location close enough to the beaches (VA Beach and Dam Neck military beach) but not in the hustle and bustle of VA Beach summer traffic. This was the perfect place, very cute, clean, and plenty of sleeping accommodations for the family. We were also close to Ocean Breeze water park, which we also wanted. Nice place to come back to after a day in the sun.

Great for what we needed

We had a dance competition for the week so we needed a place to cook meals and sleep at night since we would be gone pretty much all day every day. Check in was really easy and I received a text asking if I had any problems getting in. The only thing I can say though is the same pretty much anywhere you stay, is to bring your own pillow because it's much more comfortable to sleep on one you are used to. But we had a great time and would definitely come back.

Lovely Well-decorated House with Lots of Sleeping Space

This house was lovely. It’s has great layout for a group with a kitchen that opens into common space and lots of bedrooms. I particularly liked some of the furniture choices (really cool glass bathroom sink and some funky tiny desks.) There were quite a few bonus sleeping-spaces (convertible sofas) and blanket/linens to go with them. The only drawbacks were that the host was a little slow to respond to my first email (about the address, which wasn’t posted with the listing). But after I sent a second, Chris was very responsive, helpful, and flexible. The house is also a ways from the beach (30 minute walk) but there is a nice walk/bike trail to follow. And Lyfts are readily available. (was about $7 one-way) I would stay again. Thanks Chris!

nice house

everything was nice. small problem with tv but host quickly fixed it. need more pillow cases. needed extra pillows but no cases for them. we went to beach and tried very hard not to bring sand in the house but could have used a broom. sitting on front porch very hot could have used ceiling fans. other than that house was very nice. the air conditioning was wonderful. very cold. we were very satisfied with everything.

Very clean, lots of room, lovely outdoor area with fire pit. Owner very responsive when asking questions. Quick drive to the beach! Would absolutely consider staying here again!

Close to the beach

The proximity to the beach was great. The owner communicated very well with me. The check in and our was extremely simple. However, the furniture is old and extremely uncomfortable. The couch and love seat are covered with old covers that don't stay on the furniture. The beds are old spring mattresses that are quite uncomfortable as well. The house needs a good deep cleaning as the ceiling fans as well as behind and under the furniture are extremely dusty. I think with a good cleaning and some furniture upgrades the house would be an awesome rental. Also, the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom is almost nonexistent, which made it difficult to even shower.

We Love it a LOT

We stayed with my family this is our very first time using VRBO and we found the perfect house for us we can’t ask for nothing else this House is literally near of everywhere Nice Restaurant, Fast Food Shopping Store most important near to the Beach and the WaterPark . Virginia Beach VRBO

The inside property was clean, space was ok but bedrooms should have dressers with drawers. The yard could be organized better with trash containers located elsewhere. Although we did not utilize the grilling area it could be located somewhere permanent without having to move it around. Also it would be a plus for future tenants if there was a shed with beach chairs & umbrella available. A KEURIG would be another plus.

Ants and Roaches

Upon checking into the property, I found a roach in the closet, ants in the kitchen, a broken door on the microwave, disgusting shower curtains in the bathrooms, a dead fly in the refrigerator, items in the freezer, a dirty stove and a beeping smoke detectors that needed a battery. The home was NOT clean nor prepared for someone to stay. It was my birthday trip and I was mortified and embarrassed beyond measure for myself and my guests. Additionally it was July 4th holiday so I had to find other lodging at the last minute. The owner REFUSED responsibility for the condition of the home and would NOT refund the CLEANING FEE for a home that was CLEARLY not cleaned properly for rental. I would not recommend this owner for ANY of her properties due to her lack of morals, her greed and her lack of cleanliness for her properties. It’s shameful that after several attempts to have civil conversation about what’s right and what’s wrong this owner still wouldn’t refund the cleaning fee even after the huge inconvenience her negligence caused.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This parcel of land has been in our family for generations. We finally had the opportunity to build here in 2011-2012. Ground was broken for this cottage in October 2011.
We decided to build in 2012 in order to get exactly what we wanted and this is the perfect fit for us.
The name Hughes-Mitchell is our mother's surname. We have another street in the neighborhood named 'Hughes'. So as you can see this land and area is strong and rich with our family heritage and history.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Access to all of the beach activities and just a short bike ride away. There are several bike rental establishments in this area. Bike riding is a very popular way to get around at the Oceanfront. Traffic is often busy and finding parking can be hectic as well as expensive. This home is a vacation place, but located in the midst of a residential area, thus offering ultimate privacy and relaxation. This home can not be used as a party house! Large porch and outside deck with sitting area.
There is a recreation center within a short walk away that has an indoor pool and fitness center for use at a minimal fee.

There is no pool on site.
