Julien was a fantastic host and his home was perfect. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could wish for, a true home from home! We were a group of 7 adults and the house was really spacious, it had everything and more than you could think of, the curling wands in both bathrooms were a hit for the 3 daughters! We were greeted with a welcome pack which was a lovely touch after a long flight! The property was also fully stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash, teas, coffees etc, which was a nice touch. Julien was great at recommendations and giving me a history of certain things in Barbados which we found so interesting. The screen in the living room was also good for giving recommendations on places to visit! The location was a fantastic base, we did not hire a car but it was easy to jump on a bus and we were lucky to find a great taxi driver when needed. A very short walk to the beach, a decent supermarket and also a few bars and restaurants of varying price ranges. We couldn't rate this property any higher, it was the perfect base for us with everything and more than what we needed.We would love to return to Barbados one day and will certainly be in touch with Julien if we do in the hope that his home is available to rent!
