Hébergement exceptionnel sur 14 hectares privés pour l'escapade ultime - 18 couchages

Serenity Lodge est quelque chose qui est difficile à trouver. Il se trouve dans une intimité totale sur 14 hectares magnifiques complets avec un étang de pêche et un ruisseau bouillonnant à seulement 5 minutes de l'autoroute. La maison a été entièrement rénovée en 2017. Il y a cinq chambres à coucher, 3 salles de bain complètes, une cuisine gastronomique, une table à manger de 10 pieds, un porche extérieur qui enveloppe les 3 côtés de la maison et un salon et une salle de récréation au niveau inférieur. Le patio arrière dispose d'un spa à 7 personnes ainsi que d'un gril à gaz. La maison dispose d'un wifi internet et d'une télévision par satellite. Les chiens sont autorisés. Une grande cour clôturée se trouve à l'arrière de la maison hors du patio pour les enfants et les animaux domestiques. Idéalement situé au coeur de toutes les activités de la région dans la région de New River Gorge ainsi que dans le lac Summersville.

Great property, nice and secluded. The house was very clean and kitchen was well equipped. The grandbabies loved playing in the creek on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen felt like we were at home. It has everything you need! The hot tub was very clean. We love this property and we’re excited to be staying here again. Hopefully we csn book in the future as well!!

Comfortable Home

Very pleasant place to stay. Kids had fun fishing, firepit, complete with wood, was quite large so it accommodated our group of 10.

Loved this house! Very spacious for 8 adults and 5 children. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of towels for bathrooms, 2 washer/dryers, great fire pit, and of course a hot tub with enough room for 5-6adults easily! Loved the peaceful setting and convenient to activities and shopping. Would highly recommend!

Amazing house

This house has everything you could ask for. I have never stayed in a rental that was outfitted as nicely as this one. Great layout for lots of people - great fire pit and hot tub. Lots or things to do near by or sit back on the porch and watch nature. pat

Family weekend

This place is absolutely perfect for our family We had four generations in this house over the weekend and no one was bored. We enjoyed the fishing pond, the fire pit, the view, morning coffee on the porch, the hot tub, the fenced yard for the fur baby and the littles and games indoors. We would definitely stay here again but maybe add a few more days. Everyone said we needed more time at this house!!!

Perfect group getaway

Ten family members gathering for Christmas, ages 20 and up. Great common spaces, including a super-long dining table. Well-equipped kitchen. Great outdoor spaces, too, in warmer weather (we lucked out with a warm December day and spent it on the wraparound porch). Convenient for hiking in New River Gorge. Would absolutely stay here again.

Family vacation

The home was clean and well stocked with supplies. There were 15 adults and several children and the dogs. Everyone had a wonderful time including the family pets. The guests enjoyed the home, especially the pond and hot tub. The host was very helpful with any questions my family had. Hope to return for another stay.

Family Reunion 2023

First time ever having my family 3 Children and 9 grand children all together with their dad's and mother"s . the location was perfect and secluded to enjoy this special time together and would do it all again , and special thanks to Cindy the hose and caretaker Jordan checking on us and being there should we need them !

Great property

Teen son says it was awesoime. The boys enjoyed the fusball table and the t.v. downstairs away from it all. We all made use of the fire pit and loved looking at the millions of stars you could see being away from civilization. The raccoons trying to get into the trash cans were a hoot to watch and the morning we left, my husband actually released 2 of them that had managed to get themselves in one of them. I appreciated the layout of the house because it did allow for the kids to do their thing and make noise while I enjoyed reading on the deck or getting to sleep without being disturbed. Hot tub was enjoyed by all! House was in good proximity to New River Gorge bridge and our white water rafting company. The driveway is gravel, steep and has some significant ruts in it so drive carefully. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

First of all, this property is located on a very beautiful lot, easy access from the main road (US 19) and very close to some of the most popular trailheads. So location was perfect. We enjoyed the fire ring outside, the grill and the fact that the driveway was paved (being a little steep to get in). The wrapped porch was perfect to be out in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (since we prepared all our meals in). I would invest in a tea kettle, that would be very useful. We really liked the big long dining table that could fit all 11 of us and wide enough for our board games. Now a few negatives: the shower drains were not working properly, it seems, in at least 2 of the bathrooms. The shower in the basement for sure, and it is very unpleasant to shower with water pooling to your ankles. The 3 bedrooms in the basement are really one long space divided by wood panels to create the 3 bedrooms. There is not privacy and in the bedroom we slept there was no vent, so it got really cold overnight. The other bedroom across the bathroom in the basement has the furnace in the closet so whoever sleeps there better be a deep sleeper and be able to fall asleep fast. The door to that bedroom did not close so it had to be held with something. The basement was kind of dark, but the kids did not complain. Overall we had a good time with out friends and that is what matter.

We want you to know that we take any negative feedback very seriously. So we have addressed all the issues you discussed. We fixed the door that wouldn't close. We have put an electric heater in the room that was cold. We have cleaned out the drains that were slow draining. We put a tea kettle in the kitchen. The walls between the 3 bedrooms in the basement are properly constructed 2x4 framed walls with 1/2 inch poplar tongue and groove panels on 3 of them and sheet paneling on one so each bedroom has normal four walls and a door so I am not sure how that is not perceived as private so nothing there could be changed. Same with the location of the furnace. We are very happy that your overall experience was a positive one. We hope you visit with us again.

Private family retreat

We had a great family weekend. The house is roomy and we enjoyed the large dining table big enough for our group of 14. The outdoor area was great for wiffle ball, fishing, and hanging out on the porch.

Great place, great people

Totally pleasantly surprised. This house had 2 kitchens and two sets of washers and dryers. House was super clean, wrap around deck so great overlooking the pond and front yard, fenced in back yard great for pets and children, outdoor firepit was probably the hugest firepit that we have ever had in our VRBO experiences (which have been a lot). Property Manager Colleen, super sweet. My grandson accidentally left his "blankie" and the cleaning person found it and Colleen is having it shipped back to one happy grandson. Can't say enough of this place and we are all looking forward to returning.

Wonderful

This was the second year we stayed at this property. It is a beautiful serene place where you can relax and chill or get out and see the wonderful area around the New River Gorge. We spent a day on Summersville lake, took a day trip down the New River and explored the area hiking. We even explored thedelightful little town of Fayettville.

Peaceful private setting

This house is huge, we had so much space for all of our teens! It was super clean and even the pots and pans were in great shape. We loved the fishing pond, fire pit and beautiful green wooded surroundings! We felt like we were by ourselves but still only 5-10 minutes from the gorge. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Family Ski Trip

We absolutely loved staying here! The property is gorgeous and the house was absolutely perfect for our group. We had lots of room to stretch out, cook, and play games. It was a very cold weekend, so the hot tub was fantastic to warm up and soak our sore muscles. We hope to visit and stay here again.

We Loved It!!!!

House is exactly what we were looking for our family get to gather. Location was great!!! Loved the fenced yard and porch for our dog. The only annoyance was the creaking box springs and so many ladybugs. But in saying that we would still go back. The owners have everything you could possibly want for cooking for a large group. If you like solitude this is the place for you!!!

Cozy Country Cabin

This cabin was a lovely get away for all 13 members of our family! Ample sleeping space with clean comfy beds. Hot tub was clean, fenced yard was great for the dog, fire pit and wood was very nice and kitchen well stocked! No need to bring salt and pepper! Lol It’s a drive to get out to the cabin but the solitude and beauty of the wood was an escape. Highly recommend this property for large family gatherings!
