Perfect family reunion for Mom’s 80th!

My brother’s and I’s families had a wonderful, perfect stay at “Blue Point” in Ship Bottom for our mom’s 80th! We wanted a very special location right on the beach, with space to enjoy each other, yet have our own space, too. This property met and exceeded anything we could have hoped for in every way! The host, Bettie, was amazing to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed and helped to make our stay that much more personal and special. The house is absolutely incredible, right on the beach, spacious, well stocked and appointed with every amenity you could ask for. Loved the extra refrigerators for all our food & drinks, especially the easy access with the one in the garage. We really didn’t need to bring anything as everything was provided, plenty of beach chairs and toys (loved the beach cart!). We loved every minute and hated to go. And even if the effects of storm “Debby” impacted some of our beach time, the house was perfect for those rainy days, too, lots of good old fashioned board games, doing puzzles and relaxing in comfort in the home. And the deck was awesome to hang out on and grill in the nice weather. I wish we had time to book more than one week, and next time will be sure to do so! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!

Beautiful home, right on the beach

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home. The beach is amazing and the house is lovely -- nicely decorated, comfortable, well stocked. We hope to come back!

Fabulous family getaway in Ship Bottom!

The owner was fabulous to communicate with, and the property was exactly as described and portrayed in the photos. It was sparkling clean and well equipped. The house could not have been in a better location! The teens and adults could walk to everything easily. Ice cream, mini golf, and shopping! We loved it and want to return next summer. It was perfect for our family! Right on the beach- I give it 5 stars!

Perfect!!! Owner, Location, House

First, dealing with this owner was one of our most pleasant experiences. She was so organized and the house was so well cared for. The elevator made the move-in and move-out so much easier. The location on the dune and the ocean facing deck with the awning was perfect for relaxing and visiting and eating. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly located in the house. And the house is well insulated for sound - so noise did not travel from rooms to the hallway. Those staying up later and talking in the living room did not disturb those in the bedrooms. The open staircase made the house feel very roomy. All in all, Perfect!!!

Modern and well kept house; directly on the beach; great owners to work with

Excellent experience in every respect. We booked this house for an extended family vacation with 10 people, and had more room than we could use. The family room and kitchen are open, and perfect for gathering throughout the day. Beautiful patio with a first rate view of the water. Owners were great to work with, and paid careful attention to ensuring it was a great stay (multiple gas tanks available for the grill, beach passes, chairs, linens, etc.).

Great house on the beach

Our extended family of 9 spent a beautiful week gathered together to celebrate the first baby of our new generation. This property worked perfectly for us. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other in the sunny and spacious house. The location on the beach was so convenient and provided lovely views of the ocean from the deck where we enjoyed grilling and sharing meals together. We all agreed that it was a wonderful place to gather.

Ship Bottom Beach House

It is a Beautiful Beach front House with amazing views. The open kitchen to the family room, made it easy for our big family entertaining. The elevator made it easy for us to bring up our luggage and for our Parents to get up the stairs. It was walking distance to all the best Shops, Bars and Restaurants. The Kids loved the Ice cream truck that stopped out front several times a day. We have been Vacationing here for 3 years now and can't wait to go back every year for our Family vacation. Thanks for all the unforgettable Family Memories.

Our family has owned this beautiful home since 1995. We have spent Thanksgivings and many summers at this home. My mother died a few years ago. She kept the house very clean. She wanted families to enjoy this house, so why not have your family spend vacation here!!!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Not even touched by Sandy, this house is located on the highest point of the island, a wonderfully friendly street just 6 blocks North off the causeway to the Island. No waiting in traffic to get here! Great restaurants and specialty food stores within walking/biking distance. Bike rentals at end of block.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The views from the deck are wonderful! The house was just recently re-sided and new windows installed prior to Sandy. The Elevator is a great help for moving suitcases and groceries! The awning over the deck makes the early morning sun enjoyable as you sip your coffee and watch the surfers and dolphins! Local fishery offers fantastic lobsters and fresh daily catches for your enjoyment on the deck at night with your family and friends! Huge master bedroom with deck with views to the ocean. Beach badges, chairs, umbrella, and a few toddler beach toys are included. Life guard on duty in the summer Last week of June through Labor Day.
