The cabin and man cave was everything I had hoped. It was a cozy spot to stay for an ice fishing trip with friends.

Great owners to deal with! Excellent communication! The cabin was warm,inviting and very comfortable! The man cave was awesome as well. Foosball table, corn hole game and dart board to entertaine us. I never have played on a heckling dart board before, it provided lot of laughs

Wow, what an absolutely gorgeous spot!! My husband & I needed a get-away & this was perfect. The cabin was so warm & cozy - we loved all the wood finish inside & the bed was so comfy. The property was so spacious, we explored the yard & bird watched for a while too (it was awesome). The firepit was obviously amazing, especially with all the chopped wood ready to go. The "Cave" was so fun, we played foosball every night!!Colin took us out on Lake of the Woods & showed us some of his favorite spots. We fished a couple areas & he always seemed to know where the fish were! We had a blast out there on the water & caught a bunch of fish. The Lake was so big, it almost felt like the ocean or the north shore / superior - that really surprised me. Baudette was a cute little town, too. The forests, the shorelines, the Lake... it was magical. Lisa & Colin were so accommodating. We can't wait for our next stay!!!

My husband Colin and I (Lisa) are from Elk River, MN. Together we have 7 children and 4 grandchildren in our beautiful, blended family.
We have always loved hosting and making sure everyone has incredible experiences. We now want to pass our one of a kind cabin and cave onto those looking to stay at a very unique place and location. We have thought of everything for our guests. We want everything to be just right for our guests and we will go to great lengths to make sure that happens.
Along with hosting, we love fishing all season long. We offer our guests opportunity to also fish if they desire. Colin who is a certified US Coast Guard Captain will take you on an unforgettable fishing adventure of a lifetime.
We have been fishing together many years on Lake of the Woods. It is something we enjoy doing together.
We travel together as much as we can. Life is short…we have memories to make! We hope you can create some awesome memories staying at Angle North.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

It is a magical place filled with nature….surrounded by trees, flowers, woodland creatures, beautiful birds and stars so close you could reach out and grab one. Perfectly located on 5 private acres next to Lake of the Woods. Off in the distance, you can hear the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. We were immediately drawn to its beauty and peaceful setting. There are 3 structures on the property. A cabin that is absolutely beautiful. Open layout, loft overlooking living room, dining area and kitchen. 2 nice sized bedrooms, a woodsy bathroom, heated floors and a gas fireplace to stay warm. We fell in love with this cabin right away….and then we saw the second building, which now we call the cave. The cave is where the fun is…lots of space, concrete heated floors, games, kitchen area, fridges, counter space, big lounge couch and a massive TV. Both my husband and I immediately thought of how much our kids would love this place! The third building is our very large garage. We couldn’t wait to share this with our loved ones and friends! Now we get to share it with our guests.

It feels like a private oasis. The trees, the sounds of nature, the massive night sky with its amazing displays…every night is incredible. The air smells so different here…fresh, crisp…it’s calming. Sitting around the fire you feel like you are the only ones there.
With the cabin and cave together you have no other place with such choices and non-stop fun. Always something to do, while having the best of both worlds. You won’t ever want to stay at a hotel or resort again with all the privacy, extras and sweet location so close to the lake…an awesome bar and boat Launch just a mile away…can’t get any better than this!
