Evenings by Firelight
As the sun dips below the horizon, gather around the fire pit under a canopy of stars. Dine alfresco on the patio, sip cider by the flames, and watch the magic of day turning to night in the meadow—an unforgettable autumn ritual.

Kitchen Comforts with a Vintage Twist
The kitchen’s charming coffee and tea bar offers multiple brewing options (Mr. Coffee, Keurig, French press, electric kettle), while cooking amenities like a bread maker, air fryer/toaster oven combo, and crockpots make fall meals a breeze. The summer kitchen is picnic-ready with coolers, a basket, and a blanket—ideal for an outdoor nap or a scenic snack.

Farm-Fresh Vermont Goods
After booking, enhance your stay with a curated selection of Vermont-made meats, cheeses, jams, maple syrup, and more—crafted by us, at our other farm (Happy Bird Poultry Farm, Smokehouse and Farm Market) and waiting for you at Hubbard Boyle Way.

Whether you're tracing the property's storied past, making fireside memories, or simply soaking in the golden stillness of the season, this classic farmhouse retreat is your invitation to slow down, savor autumn’s brilliance, and reconnect with what matters most.

Lovely stay at Hubbard Boyle Way! If you are interested in enjoying the unique charm of an authentic farmhouse in the quaint village of North Danville, Vermont, then this is your destination. The house is old and the floors uneven - but it is warm, comfortable, and welcoming with many amenities and nice touches. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make a meal for two – or for ten. The grounds are fun to explore, and the historic barn is very cool. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have nice updates. This is a great place to relax and get away from city noise. It is incredibly quiet and also very dark at night – great star gazing on clear nights. Walking to the village of North Danville was quite enjoyable, and driving to nearby towns and sites was easy. I highly recommend staying here! We also recommend ordering some tasty goods from Happy Bird that will be there for you when you arrive.

This authentic Vermont farmhouse sits on many acres with beautiful views and was the perfect place for our family of seven — plus two dogs — to reconnect after recently selling our 200-year-old family home. We truly felt right at home. The house has a large, well-stocked kitchen and dining room, and we definitely made use of the HUGE washer and dryer — the host even supplied laundry detergent. The coffee bar offered many options for both coffee and tea, which was a lovely touch. The vintage furniture in the living room is super comfortable, as are all the mattresses. There are four bedrooms upstairs and a huge bedroom downstairs, with plenty of bedding and towels provided. There is also an office/library filled with Vermont and family history. The host is in the process of documenting the home’s history and has included historical artifacts — it was fascinating to explore. The hosts, Ember and Stacey, are absolutely awesome. They’ve truly thought of everything you could possibly need and have labeled items throughout the home, making it easy to settle in and find what you need.Communication was seamless, and check-in was simple. I even lost my ring in the house, and Ember found it and notified me immediately — I am so grateful.St. Johnsbury is very close and is a lovely New England town where you can find everything you need.
