This four bedroom modern home is perched high on a ridge above Sundance resort. Lasta, a 3700 square-foot home was purposely built for visual drama. Large windows invite expansive views of Alpine peaks, towering Pines and ever shifting skies-each room framing the wilderness like a living set. Located at the end of a quiet road and surrounded by a mature forest, this setting offers total seclusion with golden sunsets on the rear deck over looking the forested mountains.

This property will not accept guest reservations without photos, children 13 and under, infants or those without Airbnb experience of a minimum of 3 guest bookings with excellent reviews

This was my second stay at Lasata, and it’s quickly become my favorite place on the mountain. I rented snowshoes at Sundance Resort and spent time exploring, including a winter hike to a frozen Stuart Falls.The place feels incredibly private and peaceful, yet it’s only a few minutes’ drive to the resort for great food and live music at the Owl Bar. There’s plenty to do besides skiing, which I really appreciated.I loved sitting inside and watching the snow fall over the hillside through the big windows — especially with the fog in the trees. Honestly, this place was better than any high-end hotel I’ve stayed at. I’ll definitely be back.

Best rental I have ever stayed in!! The home itself is exquisite and the views are second to none. Joseph, the owner, goes above and beyond on all fronts. This was my second stay and I will always stay in this home if available when I am in Sundance. I highly recommend this rental. It will exceed all your expectations.

A Hidden Gem in the MountainsOur stay at this beautifully crafted and peaceful mountain home was nothing short of wonderful. The space was thoughtfully designed, offering modern comforts, stunning mountain vistas, and lovely outdoor areas ideal for birdwatching or simply unwinding. The host exceeded all expectations—welcoming us with warmth and making sure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I so don't want to write this review because I would like to keep this gem all to myself. Holy smokes, what a fabulous home and even more fabulous owner! The attention to detail is incredible. The home itself is so warm and inviting which in my mind is a hard thing to do with all glass and modern architecture. Joseph has designed a space that encompass's both. When we didn't have plans, we spent all our time on the back deck, listening to the stream below. Joseph's hospitality is second to none, seriously!! I have never been so pampered in a rental and I have stayed in many! I could go on and on, but I'll end with this, if you ever have the chance to stay in this home DO IT!! You will not be sorry. I am already planning one and maybe two return trips in the next 4 months!! I 100% recommend this rental.

I’ve stayed at many properties, but this one really stands out. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found something special. The home’s modern design, attention to detail, and luxurious finishes made it clear that no expense was spared.This home was exactly what I needed—a relaxing retreat from my busy practice. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for unwinding after riding up the Sundance lift, hiking to Stewart Falls, and dining at the Sundance Foundry Grill. It was the ideal balance of comfort and luxury.The host was friendly, responsive, and really made sure I had everything I needed.I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxury getaway. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This new mountain home is a beautiful addition to the Sundance community. Impeccable design and modern furnishings made our stay so comfortable and the views are perfection. Short drive down to spa and resort offerings. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, providing everything needed for a perfect stay. We were so grateful for the opportunity to spend time at this home.

Bottom line up front: this is a stunningly beautiful home in a spectacular location, with a truly exceptional host. We rented this home, this summer, over a long weekend to take advantage of its alpine views. We had two online courses to film, considered several properties, but when we saw this one, we were done looking. It was perfect. Our videographer team commented on how many incredible angles and shots they were able to find and even plan on bringing other clients back there to film—and to hold their company retreat! Joseph, the owner and host, was so, so good to work with. He has this incredible eye for detail and style (which you’ll see as soon as you pull into the driveway--and in every inch of the house), but he is equally attentive to the overall experience of his guests. He couldn’t have been more responsive, generous, and easy to work with. He’s just a very cool, impressive person. We intend to film additional courses there as well as to just come back to unwind and listen to the wind blowing through the large pines that are right off the back, wrap around porch again. That was magical. Your blood pressure starts to drop as soon as you approach the front door. Stay here if you can. It’s just wonderful.

This is a new modern mountain home that is spotless and beautifully decorated in every space. Every last detail has been thought of and executed. The master suite is all windows with the perfect view of Timp. We have been coming to Sundance for years and will definitely be back to this location. Finally, the home is full of stunning live plants that act as artwork in the rooms.Just wonderful!Marc F.
