The Lodge at 11 Chimneys / Vast Dining Room in a 6,000 sf Cabin

The Lodge is a 6,000 sq ft, 6 bedroom/4.5 bath cabin that's nestled in between a vast amount of trees and boulders. As you enter into this cabin, you’re greeted with large windows showing the woods and Strawberry Creek. Explore the grounds of a 12 acre property, with an abundant amount of history, boulders and remarkable views. Lounge on one of the 9 outdoor seating areas amongst the trees. Bring back your inner kid by enjoying the maze-like layout of the cabin. Welcome to our Lodge!

6 full bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, it's perfect for a group's getaway. The fully functioning kitchen is stocked and ready for your cooking needs. The dining room sits 14 people next to a beautiful fireplace. There are two living rooms throughout the cabin! Spend some time walking around the trails on the property and enjoying the beautiful scenery that Idyllwild has to offer.

There are other cabins on this property but the Lodge is removed and secluded. The shared areas are the main driveway.

The path to this cabin is dirt and there are steps down to the main entrance.

The AC/Heating for the cabin is a Mini Split system. The mini split system is on the left side of the house - there is one unit in each of the 4 bedrooms and the kitchen. There are two units in the living room. There are two bedrooms on the right side of the house that do not have AC, but they do have fans. The AC/Heat work effectively but please be prepared for a true mountain cabin experience.

Check in: On the VRBO app, the "Arrival Guide" will be available 24-48 hours before check in. This will have instructions on parking, wifi, etc. We will then send you the lockbox code the day of your check in on the message thread.

Self Check in allows for an easy and private way to begin your stay!

Please read before booking:

- No events, gatherings, parties or weddings permitted unless approved by Host.
- PETS: Only dogs allowed, no cats or other animals. We have a max of 2 dogs allowed. If you would like to bring a dog, please make sure to select 1-2 PETS at booking to ensure the pet fee is included. Dogs must be paid for at reservation time. If there is an unauthorized dog during the stay, a fee of $100 will be applied, plus the original pet fee. There is no fenced yard and pets must be on leashes at ALL TIMES and not left unattended in the cabin.
- There is little cell reception on the property based on the phone carrier that you have. DISCLAIMER: Due to the remote location, we have satellite wifi. This can become obstructed or intermittent.
- Firewood is not provided. Please stop by the local stores for firewood before your stay.
- Items not permitted with no exceptions: Events of any kind, Unauthorized Guests, EV Charging, Smoking inside or around the Premises & No fire pits/outdoor fires.
- We are in a Mountain Town, during winter months, there may be snow which might require you to wait on the snow plows (we're a small Town) or shovel your car or walkway out of the property. If there is snow, you may need to park further away from the cabin and will need to walk a short distance to the cabin to prevent your cars getting stuck.
