It is exactly as described. A clean small space, which is all we needed. Would stay again if we are ever back in the area. The host was quick to respond to our question about parking (we parked on the street and paid through the app with no problems).

I wish parking was including with the apartment, but I understand why being in the downtown and all. Other than that it was a fantastic place to stay especially if you are doing anything in downtown Cincy.

Great place, walking distance to the many amazing spots in OTR. Parking lot is basically next door which is very convenient. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

The place was clean and as described. The host responded quickly to all questions. Location seems to be in a little bit of a rough area but we walked around without any issues. There’s a public parking lot close by and we were able to walk to restaurants and businesses.

We were very optimistic about the cute photos of the place but when we got there we didn’t even feel safe enough to get out and go in. We were told there was a parking lot that was a 2 minute walk away, and we never could find it. It wasn’t on the app we were told to use or on Google Maps. As we were driving around trying to find parking, the streets were very dark, police officers were out everywhere with their lights on, and there were very sketchy groups of people all around who didn’t look very friendly. It was late and we were not going to take our chances with all our things walking to this place so we went to a hotel instead.

The surrounding area wasn’t the nicest but that is any downtown city at night. We felt safe and secure in the apartment especially with the parking right next to the building. Such a good location for the wedding we went to right in OTR. Would come stay again!

The apartment was exactly as stated and appeared in the ad. Communication with the host was timely and very helpful. The location of the property was less than to be desired. Although the alley was lit well walking down the alley at night was a bit un-nerving given all of the random people hanging out on the corners at all hours of the night. The neighborhood is a rough around the edges although very close to the restaurant and entertainment strip in OTR Probably not a good fit for signed that are not used to staying in cities or single females

I hate leaving negative reviews, but we were definitely disappointed by our stay. The property is surrounded by abandoned buildings, and we didn't feel safe walking back to the property at night. If that were the only factor, I think I could see a world where I might recommend someone stay there as long as they're being careful and know what to expect. However, the apartment itself felt like the hosts were trying to cut as many corners as possible. The chair (which is artfully not pictured directly in the listing) was falling apart, and the faux leather was shedding everywhere. They didn't put out a new sponge for the stay, and there were only 2 and a half rolls of toilet paper for 3 people for a 3 night stay. The mattress in one of the bedrooms felt incredibly old--I could hear the springs creak whenever I moved. I had to correct our booking information with the host twice, and I didn't receive check-in instructions until 15 minutes before check in (even though we were told they'd be provided the morning of our stay). The listing says there's parking available, but by that, they just mean that there's paid parking by the VRBO (which feels deceptive in terms of marketing the property). Any of these factors alone wouldn't have been a huge deal, but taken together, it was very obvious that the hosts were cutting as many corners as possible. If you really need somewhere to stay, I think the property is adequate. But I personally wouldn't stay there again.

Overall, the apartment was clean, well-maintained, and everything matched the listing. Communication was easy, and we had a good stay overall.The biggest issue was the lighting. There are very bright streetlights directly outside nearly every window, and the apartment does not have blackout curtains. The rooms stayed extremely bright throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. Our two-year-old woke up at 4:00 AM thinking it was morning because the room was so illuminated.The neighborhood is definitely on the sketchier side compared to other areas we’ve stayed in, but I never personally felt unsafe during our visit.If blackout curtains were added, this would have been a much more comfortable stay. Other than the sleep issue, everything else was great.
