The kitchen and dining area offer counter and dining table seating with matching counter height bar stools. The L shaped living space has a comfy sectional sofa with lounge seat. A 70inch Smart TV and WiFi is also included. Two sliding doors with screens open to the large deck with 2 sets of stairs to the yard and lakeside patio, Outside dining table and chairs, plus gas fire pit, and lounge chairs are just steps away from the dock. Guests are welcome to use the dock for their own boat. Two newer sit upon kayaks, paddles and a 4 person paddleboat are available for guests to use.

Sand Lake is part of the Harrison Chain of Lakes and connects via a no wake channel to Boathouse Lake, Townline Lake, Icehouse Lake and Haven Lake. Kerns convenience store/gas station, Weekend at Bernies boutique, Crossroads Corner/Gas station, Mr. Vetoes Pizza, Dollar General are all within one mile. Downtown Harrison, home of the Clare County fairgrounds, Wilson State Park, Restaurants/Bars/Fast Food, Gas, Groceries, Bowling within 10 miles. Houghton Lake, Gladwin and Clare with Mid Michigan Community College, Jays Sporting Goods and plenty of restaurants and boutiques including Sapphire Boutique are all within a 20 minute drive.
