à propos de cet hébergement
Official Tiny Earth Cabin: Cozy, 2-Night Minimum, Woods & Wildlife
Step into 8,000 acres abutting the North side of the cabin, terminating at the Northfield Bike Park. Hidden 900 feet down a forest path, Tiny Earth Cabin is a rare retreat where nature, warmth, and wonder converge. Guests leave feeling deeply resetâthis place is less a rental and more an immersion in Earth itself.
Inside youâll find just what you need: a queen bed with a heated mattress, a wood stove, LED lighting, and a small but full kitchen with oven, burners, and pantry staples like provided maple syrup, coffee, a double-sided electric waffle maker, and olive oil. Step outside to a seasonal hot shower, fire ring under the stars, and even a deer salt lick you can light up from your window. Starlink internet keeps you connectedâif you choose. We recommend you bring your bathrobe and pajamas for those chilly nights. We intend upon staying open for the winter. When on the other well-known booking platform, 6 couples brought their children ââ now we have a complete childrenâs set of tools and books to investigate the fungal world surrounding the cabin.
Over 1,000 guests from 17 countries have stayed here, calling it a sanctuary of peace, memory, and inspiration. Featured by travel journalist MikeWillTravel, this 100-sq-ft cabin has become a beloved New England legend.
Nature Focus: From brook crossings to animal visitors, the cabin is surrounded by living wilderness.
Simple Joys: 50 curated books (including fungi science), quiet evenings by the stove, and starlit skies.
Essentials: Firewood available ($8/bundle), fresh linens provided (DIY setup), and eco-friendly stay practices.
Important Notes:
5-night minimum stay â $100/night beta pricing (1-month only!)
Refrigerator, double-sided waffle-maker built-in!
Normally cabins with these amenities rent for ~$1,854/5 nights on other platforms. This is your chance to experience deep nature at a fraction of the cost.
Guests handle sheets/trash; we provide everything else.
Nearby, discover Canterbury Shaker Village, local orchards, two local craft beer (Canterbury Ale Works and Blasty Bough Brewing Company) and spirits, or simply stay put and let the forest do the talking. The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is nearby. 10 minutes away is the Canterbury Country Store, recently upgraded, where all of your organic food needs can be obtained ââ also in the same area is the Canterbury Childrenâs library with a dedicated librarian for children!
Tiny Earth Cabin books quicklyâplan ahead, and come prepared to disconnect, slow down, and live closer to the roots of life itself.
(it would be wise to follow and book on the Lunar cycle!)

Ă propos de lâhĂŽte
HÎte : Chance Anderson
A man of indeterminate age. Never married.
Highly skilled in a diverse array of crafts and trades!
As a Stone Architect, Chance designed and constructed the centerpiece in downtown Concord, NH, called Bi Centennial Square â a 100-ton stone structure that creates a mythical place for children to enjoy.
Chance previously was on Airbnb for 5 1/2 years hosting over 900 individuals from over 18 foreign countries.
The most prestigious one would have been the First Violin Chair from the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), requesting a whole month stay â alas, at that time, high-speed internet had not been in place as it is now.
Gifford H Miller is why Chance spent 48 years in Paleoclimatology in Arctic Canada and remain close friends still to this day. See article about the amazing Gifford:

Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
The magical place of Canterbury, NH, was granted in 1727, named after the English Archbishop, and incorporated in 1741, initially serving as a fort and trading post for the Pennacook people. It evolved into a farming community and later became home to the Canterbury Shaker Village, founded in 1792, which remains a well-preserved example of the communal society's architecture and lifestyle. The town also has a rich agricultural history, noted for its small businesses, and is the location of the Boston Post Cane tradition.
Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique
