Great place to stay! The way the cabin is laid out is perfect for different levels of privacy if traveling with 2 or 3 couples. The driveway is a bit steep with a couple of sharp turns but nothing a 2 or 3 point turn couldn't fix (24 crew cab shorted chevy)Thanks, Jamie!

We had a wonderful time the views are amazing! It’s close to Pigeon Forge. The hot tub definitely helped with all the walking we did in Gatlinburg. The host was awesome we had a user error with the key pad and they walked us through it. Any questions we had they got back to us quickly. The was clean and beds are nice.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. It’s conveniently located, making it easy to access all the attractions that Smokey has to offer. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided us with valuable information to enhance our stay. We’ve shared our feedback with the hosts, and they’re actively working on some of the improvements we suggested. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay!! The hosts were very responsive and gave us all the information and details we needed prior to check in and during our stay. The cabin has wonderful views from upstairs, comfy beds and we even had a bear come to the porch during our stay. Its location is perfect too! Perfectly in the mountains but close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. The driveway to get to the cabin is an adventure! LOL .....lets just say make sure your car is in low gear (L1) and take the last turn wide! If you know, you know!We would definitely book again!!!

The cabin was really clean. We loved the pool table and hot tub.The jets in the hot tub could be stronger. The views in the upstairs living room was beautiful. We got to see a bear by the cabin as we were leaving to go out one afternoon.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin in the mountain's the views were spectacular!! The location was great. Our check in process was very easy, the cabin was clean and the hosts were responsive to all of our needs. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. The pool table on the top floor provided hours of evening fun. We look forward to returning for more mountain adventures!!

We stayed 2 nights, with 6 adults and 3 children. Ages 7,3,1. We brought one vehicle a 15 passenger van. The drive up to the cabin and drive way was treacherous. Pretty sure our wheels came off the ground on the turn. Overall place accommodated us. The upstairs bathroom was leaking and plumber was called but would have interrupted our stay we agreed with host to wait till we left. Cabin could have been a little cleaner found some dirt and grime when we had to get up and look for leak on cabinets. As well as checking under beds and night stands. We have a baby that’s walking and crawling. A baby gate would have been nice for the stair well going down stairs we had to use the bench seat instead. The downstairs beds could use new mattresses as there are humps in the middle or side on each bed, per the people sleeping in them. Great view, hot tub was nice, upstairs was nice for the kids to play and sleep. The cabin is close to pigeon forge which is always nice.

Cozy cabin located perfectly to Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, Townsend. Beautiful drive to and fro. Plenty of room for a couple with 3, semi grown, children. Lots to do at cabin and nearby

Beautiful cabin and beautiful views with nice hot tub! Downstairs beds not very comfortable and a broken toaster and a missing pool table triangle ball rack but overall a nice stay.

We love the property. Very clean and great amenities. The location caught us off guard. There are some dangerous driving spots particularly at night. The roads have blind spots and dips going up the steep hills. I got stuck backing out. We didn't go out after dark because of it.

We also appreciate you noting the roads, as the mountain drive can definitely feel a bit adventurous after dark. We are Florida flat-landers and remember feeling the same way, but after a day or two it became much more comfortable. Thanks again!

My husband & I rented this cabin to bring our 3 grandsons for a quick trip from middle TN. It was nice to have 3 king size beds & a twin day bed for us to have our own spaces. Two of the beds were quite comfortable but one king bed downstairs kept the person up all night being uncomfortable & needs replaced. The cabin clean by other standards but I found it lacking in some areas. The hot tub was cold when we 1'st got there but by the time we got in it late it had warmed up to 99 & then 102 by the next day. We were disappointed that only 2 jets worked. I chose this cabin for the bedrooms, pool table & hot tub to keep the kids occupied since it was supposed to be a rainy weekend so the jet issue was disappointing. It had lots of silverware, baking sheets & cookware although a skillet was too worn to use. During our stay the TVs went out but at least 2 TV's came back on, so at least 2 or 3 never worked. The day we checked in I received communication from the owner with a few instructions but they did not give us their phone number like all the other VRBO rentals we have had so when the Intenet went out there were no way to contact them until we went back to town which was aggravating when our TV's went out. There was no helpful booklet like most have with instructions of troubleshooting, recommendations of restaurants & things to do. The upstairs & downstairs have very tight winding stairs & the tub is very narrow so it might be issues with large heavyset travelers to maneuver

We had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly easy to work with and made everything seamless from start to finish. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the home itself was beautiful, clean, and very well stocked with everything we needed. The photos honestly do not do this place justice—it is even more stunning in person. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

We wanted a spot that keeps the fun close but the crowds far away. Black Bear Hideout is just 5 miles to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and about 7 miles to Dollywood, yet only three cabins share our road. That means you can dash into town for shows or supper, then retreat back to the cabin to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Secluded feel, instant access – Perched midway up the ridge, the cabin is enveloped by hardwood forest, so from the back porch you see only green in summer and fiery colors in fall. Yet you’re on a paved road the whole way to restaurants, grocery stores, and shows.

Designed for unwinding – The back porch with rocking chairs face a wall of trees; add your morning coffee or evening wine and it’s an instant reset. Indoors, soaring knotty-pine ceilings and a stone (gas) fireplace create classic Smoky Mountain ambience, while high-speed Wi-Fi and smart TVs keep everyone connected.

Room for everyone to breathe – Three en-suite bedrooms on mean couples or families have genuine privacy. A vaulted great room gives way to an open-plan kitchen, so the cook isn’t cut off from the conversation.

Nature right outside – Because the lane ends just past our drive, traffic is practically zero; step off the porch and enjoy the fire pit or a quick walk to get some fresh air.
