Island Spa @ The Truman Annex

Cette unité Shipyard a un lit Queen, une salle de bains, trÚs ensoleillé, condo lumineux. Il dispose d'un trÚs beau grand balcon avec vue sur Ft. Zachery, au deuxiÚme niveau, comprend des meubles de patio extérieurs et est trÚs proche du bassin communautaire. Séjours d'une à deux semaines, limite de deux personnes. The Shipyard Condominiums est situé dans l'annexe Truman, qui se trouve à 2 pùtés de maisons de la rue Duval et de toutes les attractions de la vieille ville de Key West. La propriété est également située mile de l'une des plus belles plages de l'ßle. *PAS DE WIFI*

We would definitely return! Compass reality was awesome to work with also. They were responsive when we had a small issue and accommodated us with a early check in and a late check out.

Truman Annex Gem

Beautiful kitchen with great appliances and outfitted with lovely dishes, etc. Bedroom is very nice with amazing storage. Great sized outdoor deck. Washer and dryer were perfect and looked brand new. Unit was exceptionally clean! The only suggestion I would make is to update the bathroom - it needs a remodel to compare to the quality of the rest of the condo. That being said - we would definitely stay again.The staff at Compass Realty were extremely accommodating and wonderful to work with. We will utilize their services again - hopefully next year!

Located at the entrance to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, we were very close to one of the nicest beaches in Key West and within walking distance to Duval St. and everything it has to offer. The condo was vey clean and comfortable with a large balcony, washer and dryer and updated kitchen appliances.

This Condo is one of the better ones as it is very clean, quiet, and the outside deck is larger and more private, and the stairs leading up are carpeted. Overall this a great place to stay and will be back again.

This place had excellent location. Was walkable to Duval street, but was quiet at night. Pros: Location, cleanliness Cons: No hot shower Our arrival was later than anticipated due to Tropical storm, and directions was unclear to get to the lockbox after-hours.

Best Value in Key West

My wife and I spent our anniversary in Key West - one of our favorite destinations. Accommodations in Key West / Old Town area have skyrocketed. This property has held the line in price. This is not a plush condo. If you are looking for that this is not it. It is exactly as pictured. We basically needed a nice, clean, convenient place to hang when we were not on the town or at the beaches that wouldn't break the bank. Though it very close to the action of Duval. It is located in a quiet and secure complex - beautifully landscaped and maintained with parking.

Perfect location to everything! I would suggest a few changes to the unit itself.

I would definitely suggest they add curtains to bedroom, the blinds have a gap that you get the sun in your face very early in the morning! So forget sleeping in.... I would also suggest that they change the type of shower curtain to a disposable vinyl kind inside curtain vs the sheet type, it had stains as well as the bathroom rug... something you can actually throw in washer and clean... not sure how often that gets cleaned... other than that it was PERFECT for our stay!

Reconnecting with Key West.

After visiting Key West for 5 years in a row it was a pleasure revisiting after a 6 year absence. Prior to this latest visit we stayed at the Truman Annex condos. We look forward to our return next January - February - pending availability.

Great Location for Old Town Key West

Nice 1 bedroom/1 bath 2nd story unit. Great location - close to Old Town Key West and various sites. Management company did a mixed job handling issues: check in - good; internet issue - good; termite infestation - poor (after hours support - supportive, but largely ineffective, next day pest treatment - ok, discussions with management staff at check out - bad, said termites were swarming all over Key West and we should just suck it up! This was an issue that effected many units and homes in Key West.). My daughter lived in Key West for 3 years and NEVER had a termite swarm in her home.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decited to give this place a try. We have stayed in Truman annex and the shipyard many times with great success. This was a one bedroom that we decided to try. There were no extra sheets no extra pillows no extra blankets for the pullout couch. The couch Was horrible and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was in very poor condition and was dirty upon arrival The shower head no Water pressure. The showerhead look as if it came out of a trailer. For the price that was paid it was just below the standards that we were used to in the shipyard. I've never given a bad review during any of our stays in Key West as we love it so much. In every other situation there have always been extra sheets blankets and pillows. We visit Key West 2 to 3 times per year and have rented off air B and B as well as compass realty and have had great luck until this one. The rest of the place was nice . The deck off the back was great. Just very hard to start the day with the worst shower/bathroom experience each day when your in paradise.....Thank you, Aaron Weyl

Convenient Location

Very convenient for a short 3 block walk to Duval Street and all that has to offer. Also just a couple blocks from Blue Heaven which became a favorite spot for breakfast lunch and dinner.
