Perched along the sugar white sand shores of St. George Island, Black Skimmer is a coastal classic reimagined for laid back luxury. Step inside to find a light soaked great room with soaring blonde tongue and groove ceilings, new coastal furnishings and a panoramic wall of windows that frame endless Gulf views. The heart of this home flows seamlessly to a screened porch dotted with Adirondack chairs, where ocean breezes and sunset toasts come standard.

The primary king suite on the east side offers a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the west wing features a second king bedroom that shares a hallway bathroom with a shower/tub combo with the adjacent queen & bunk room—perfect for kids or cousins who whisper late into the night.

A brand new boardwalk leads you straight to the white sand and thoughtful updates throughout—including new appliances, furnishings and fresh dĂ©cor—make every stay feel special. Need extra convenience? An elevator is available for a fee of $150 and pets under 35 lbs. are welcome with prior approval.

House was perfect! Perfect open space, very clean. Everything top notch! Great view, right on beach with easy access. Loved the screened porch along with deck areas. Great for spending time outside out of sun while still feeling like at beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at the Black Skimmer! The house was beautifully decorated and like new. We really enjoyed the back screened in porch where we could still enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean when the weather was too windy or rainy to be on the beach. Loved the big closets and plenty of storage in the laundry room so the kitchen was not cluttered. Very spacious rooms and plenty of seating!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was quiet elegance and comfort. We brought my father who is just finishing cancer treatment. The elevator made it so simple for him. The covered porches allowed him to sit in comfort if the weather was too warm. The two king bed rooms were so comfortable and spacious. The kids room was perfect. There was not one thing the house did not have that we could have needed. We have vacationed on St George on and off for 30 years and Black Skimmer felt like home. Will absolutely be booking every year.
