Great time and very relaxing. Kathy was very responsive and helpful. Took time to explain the ins and outs of the house and area and even guided us to the property to make sure we didn’t get lost.

There is no cell service and the cooking equipment needs updating. But the location is spectacular. Fishing was awesome right off the docks. The cabin is clean and comfy. We will visit again and bring our boat bext time!

Couldn't Ask For More

Kathy's Cabin on the lake was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin is cozy, rustic, and familial. We played games, grilled, watched the action on the lake from the boat house. What a location! The view from the property and from the boat house porch is beautiful - lake, mountains, islands. We brought our boat and were able to dock it at the cabin which made each days' excursions so easy! Kathy is very accommodating and welcoming. She made check in very easy, she is communicative and a joy! It was nice to have a local to clue us in on customs of the lake and surroundings.We will be back for sure.

Just returned from an amazing stay at the cabin with my wife and our dogs. Host Kathy was super responsive to any questions that we had prior to our stay. She met us in town and had us follow her to the cabin. Thankfully because although it’s not too far from town, it is a little hard to find and not identified on gps. Once arrived Kathy gave us a quick tour, answered any questions we had and was on her way. The cabin is rustic but has a very comfortable feel to it. It’s almost like staying at a relative’s cabin. It was well appointed and we really enjoyed the decor as it adds to its charm. The sunroom is amazing. That’s where we spent our time when we were inside. The view of the lake from the sunroom is to die for and we absolutely loved hearing the loons calling late at night. The property itself exceeded our expectations. It’s a very short walk to the lake where you’ll find the dock and boathouse. There is also a small clearing to walk into the lake as pictured. It was ideal for our dogs to get into the lake and play, which they did daily. We spent our days on the dock, swimming and playing with our dogs and headed up to the deck on the boathouse for sunset and enjoy the beautiful view with a bottle of wine. As other travelers have mentioned, we will definitely bring our boat next time. It was an amazing stay! It is rustic so be aware there is no wifi but it was quiet and the perfect opportunity for us to unwind and unplug. We will return.
