At RLT Destinations—“Road Less Traveled”—our story is rooted in friendship, family, and a shared passion for adventure.

Matt and Jeremy have been close friends for over 20 years. Matt and his wife Elizabeth have been married just as long, raising two daughters. In 2020, Jeremy met Megan—who turned out to be one of Matt’s high school friends. She brought four wonderful kids into Jeremy’s life, and their blended family became official in 2023, with Matt as best man and Elizabeth as a bridesmaid.

In 2022, Jeremy and Megan bought a 31-ft Airstream and began glamping across the country with their kids. Those trips, full of natural beauty and creature comforts, inspired Matt and Elizabeth to join in on adventures to Hocking Hills. One special trip in 2022 led to Jeremy proposing to Megan at Whispering Cave.

Through those shared experiences, the idea for RLT Destinations was born. The Hocking Hills area is full of beauty and charm, but luxury glamping options were lacking. So, in 2023, our families purchased 23 gorgeous acres along Laurel Run on State Route 180. With its winding creek and peaceful setting, the land became the foundation for our dream.

We’ve spent the last two years building Streams and Dreams at Laurel Run—a one-of-a-kind glamping destination featuring custom Airstreams and private outdoor oases, just 50 minutes from Columbus.

Opening in 2025, this retreat is a labor of love designed for couples, small families, and adventure-seekers who want to reconnect with nature without giving up comfort. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck, relaxing in your private sauna, or exploring the nearby trails, we hope you feel the magic of the road less traveled.
