Beautiful and cozy.

We had a great stay. Beds were comfortable and the house was way better than I expected. Loved the outdoor space very much.

Easy access to the highway (about 10 minutes) down the mountain. Our accomodations were lovely and it was easy to work with the agency. The location is a beautiful area, close to Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls, hiking, Smoky Mountains National Park and Asheville. Perfect!

Quiet mountainside getaway!

We rented the same cabin again this year because we enjoyed it so much last year. The back covered porch is my favorite part. The only three concerns that I had last year have been taken care of: A brand new bathroom was built in the basement which is much easier to shower in than in the master suite. The washer/dry was replaced with a new set which is a great improvement. The ant problem wasn't nearly as bad as last year. The property is very private and on a beautiful setting. It is much larger (3 stories) than what the image suggests. Even though you are told to bring your own paper goods, etc., there have been some of these items on hand. It was hotter this year than last. The AC worked well.

Mountain Get Away

While our overall stay was okay, there are a few things that are not conducive to me to give it a 5 Star rating. Location - the pictures on vbro make you believe this is a more secluded cabin than it is. Houses are nearby and a major highway runs close by contributing to the noise of cars and the Jack brakes of the 18 wheelers when sitting outside or having the window open at night. Inside - House is very cluttered with owners’ belongings, no room in cabinet for supplies. We lived out of box and suitcase in worries our stuff would get too "mingled" with owners’ belongings and we would leave items behind. On the positive the cabin had everything that one could need. Also, the cleaning company must have forgotten to change the linens in one of the beds as it had a lot of human hair in it. One of the showers has an almost body length window without blinds. One would think no worries we are in the "woods", however next morning sitting outside drinking coffee, while other family members are still taking showers, we noticed the neighbors "gawking" our way with binoculars. Hopefully coincidence, creepy nevertheless. Stay – day 3 propane ran out. Rental company was very responsive and we had propane refilled next day. While all pilot lights where re-lit fire place (gas logs) did not work the entire time. Hot tub and fire pit worked great. Like I said, overall not a bad stay, but I would liked to have known about the location etc. so I could have better managed expectations.

We have decided that every year in the same month we will try booking this cabin.

Magical View

What a beautiful vacation. Picket fences, horses, water, mountains, barns, leaf peeping, flowers, wildlife. I experienced everything I wanted plus more. Easy to find, (the driving in is spectacular) Easy to drive in with any vehicle in most seasons on the paved road. Drive slow in consideration of neighborhood. The cabin is perfect vacation holiday. The kitchen has everything you need to cook anything you need. The bedrooms are comfortable. The bathrooms have great waterpressure. All very comfortable. But the deck is the place to be with the views. You can dine, lounge, enjoy a fire or a soak in the hottub watching the sunset. All easy the operate. It's a very homey feeling cabin. We had Ingles supermarket close by. Huge. There were fairs every weekend. Quick drive to the BlueRidge to watch the sunset. Half Hour to Ashville to shop and eat. (Great Gluten-Free freedom day for me). The Smokey Mountain National Park just in the back yard is a endless joy on the eyes. Gatlinburg just at the other end of the park is a great trip. Excellent location to choose to vacation. I will pick this home again anytime. We loved it.

Spectacular View & Very Clean

We will return because of the fabulous view in all directions and the property is clean and neat. It is easy to drive to and convenient. It is well stocked.

It’s located in such a pretty area surrounded by farms and old barns and beautiful woods. The cabin itself was so inviting and comfortable. There was lots of space, more then expected with two pullout couches and an extra futon in addition to the three beds. I was so in love with all the cute and thoughtful decorations throughout the house and the patio furniture was incredible. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The whole property was well taken care of and just had a happiness about it. I hope we can stay here again someday! The only downsides were poor WiFi, and the smell of the skunk living under the front porch.

Picture perfect!

The property is lovely and well-maintained. It was more private than expected. It has a long driveway and three separate areas for parking including a covered area below. The cabin had three levels. All bedrooms are on the top floor. The master is quite large. The laundry is in the basement. The covered area of the patio is very comfy with a great view. The only real negatives are that the master shower is a bit awkward being a freestanding tub; however, the water is hot. There is also an ant problem, so don’t leave anything sweet out. We lost a new pie to them. Also, the washing machine is very temperamental and took some doing for it to work. I don’t think it works at all on the hot water setting and I had to unplug it a couple of time to get it to work. We all really enjoyed it there and would go back again.

While at the house, we spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch. The pond was nice! Caught some good size fish that we released back! The yard is a great size! All bedrooms were upstairs. Would be nice if there were one downstairs for anyone that may have trouble going up & down them. The washing machine took some getting used to. The hot tub was relaxing but the fire pit was out of propane or didn’t work. Overall it was a nice place. Comfortable & relaxing!

Relaxing and Beautiful

We had a lovely time. The week went by too fast. When you first get to the property, the cabin looks deceptively smaller than it actually is. When you step into the cabin it seems to open up. It has a beautiful rustic vibe and feel. The cabin was fully stocked with all the necessities. Outside there is a beautiful wrap around porch that has amazing views of the mountains on one side and the pond on the other. There is a hottub on the side porch with beautiful views of the mountains. It was lovely to sit in it after a full day of rafting and just watch the clouds pass over the mountains. We brought our family and my parents, (7 in total) and we had plenty of room, Both in the house and on the porch. With plenty of tables for eating and sitting areas for all. (including rockers on the porch) The pond has fish in it, and we had a ball fishing. (We caught and released them.) Looked to be mostly brim (possibly bluegill) Was very relaxing. You do share the pond with the farm on the other side, but the property is laid out as such that you don't feel like you are too close to other people. You can watch the horse and pony on the other property run around. Which was a delight to myself and my girls. There is a stream on the property at the base of the fence line, walked down to it, there are apple trees, and beautiful trees everywhere. The property is conveniently located. It took us no time to get to Maggie, Cherokee, (15-20 minutes) Bryson was the furthest from us, took about an hour to get there. That might sound like a bit of a drive, but it is breathtakingly beautiful, so we didn't mind the ride at all. All in all Wonderful!!! We loved our stay. Would definitely stay again and would so recommend this property. If you are looking for a beautiful relaxing place to stay. This is it! Thank you again, Amanda Miller
