Pittoresque et confortable bungalow de 3 chambres avec terrasse et grande cour, à quelques pas de la plage privée! L'océan Atlantique peut être vu depuis la porte d'entrée. Entièrement meublé. Les équipements incluent: Internet wifi, télévision par câble, climatisation, lave-vaisselle, gril, foyer, douche extérieure, et laveuse / sécheuse. Situé dans un quartier calme et familial. Très isolé, seulement 1 route d'entrée et de sortie. Idéal pour des promenades / courses paisibles et il y a de nombreuses pistes cyclables dans les environs. Capacité de 6 personnes confortablement. Parking hors rue pour 2 voitures. Un petit débarcadère est également disponible.

Près de nombreuses destinations touristiques, y compris Cape Cod (30 min), Boston (60 min), Newport RI (45 min) Martha's Vineyard et Nantucket Ferries (15 min), et New Bedford MA aka "La ville baleinière" (15 min) . Pas de pénurie de restaurants et de pubs avec de superbes vues sur la baie et les chantiers navals. We had a great stay! The community the home is located in was so quiet. The place was so clean, you would not know it was pet friendly! Our hosts had everything we needed and then some, from extra dog supplies to books to keep our toddler occupied. And our hosts kept the check in, stay and check out instructions simple. We would definitely book this place again!

The area was beautiful! We went mid August and the neighborhood had gorgeous flowers blooming everywhere. The beach area was private and so relaxing. Our pup loved exploring the doggy beach. Good area for restaurants too… we really enjoyed Turk’s!

The house is only a 5-minute walk to the beach in a private beach community on Buzzard's Bay. It's pet-friendly, which was important to us, and hosts were extremely responsive and helpful in all respects. This house is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay (all manners of beach chairs and toys, a grill with charcoal, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, even toilet paper.) But ... we did have some issues. Foremost was the hot water, or lack thereof - sometimes it was tepid, sometimes it was hot. Hosts acknowledged this as an inherent problem with an aging heating system. The house itself is pretty old and rustic, an aging beach cottage, with a too-soft pillowtop mattress and barely adequate lighting. A giant holly tree right next to the front door sheds thorny leaves constantly, which stick to your shoes and get tracked into the house. Walking barefoot among them proved painful.

Magical coastal gem.

What a wonderful seaside cottage. We had a great stay in this tastefully decorated cottage that is perfect for a small family. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to stay in the Marion/Mattapoisett/Fairhaven area. My favorite VRBO in the area.

This is a very nice stay. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house is cozy. It had everything we needed to enjoy the space and the beach. Communication with the owners was easy and quick. The local restaurants didnt look like much driving by but they were hidden gems!

Just got back home from a week at this Mattapoisett beach cottage, we had a great time. The house had everything we needed for a quiet week at the beach and the neighborhood is perfect - good sized private beach, separate dog-friendly beach area, quiet roads for kids to ride bikes or to walk our dog, and close to anything we needed. We've made this beach house part of our summer plans for the past 5 years and always enjoy our time there.

Perfect beach vacation!

We've rented this house each summer for the past few years and always love our time here. The neighborhood is great, the beach is perfect with young kids, and there's plenty to do nearby on the cape or in New Bedford. Hope to be back again next summer!

Great location and neighborhood

This cottage is well cared for and a nice base for my activities kayaking and biking in the area. It's convenient for dog walking out the door or closeby to other dog walking properties. It's a dog firendly neighborhood. Carly and Matthew are attentive and considerate hosts.

Best vacation in recent years!

We really didn’t know much about Brandt Beach and Mattapoisett going into this trip and by Tuesday we were making plans for next year. This neighborhood is so friendly and quiet. The small beach is a delight! Calm and peaceful in the morning and hardly ever crowded. The house was so well stocked and had everything you needed and more! We were there the week of the 4th and were invited to participate in the parade and potluck which was so wonderful! I hope to vacation here again soon!

Great place for dogs by the beach

Steps from the beach!

We had a very nice time at Carly and Matt's cottage. The location is great!...just steps from the beach. Carly was super responsive when we had questions, and also accomodating us with a last minute shift in dates when I got sick. And our pup enjoyed the yard and deck as well.

We all loved our vacation stay here!

The house was perfect for our family vacation with our adult children and their partners. We loved how the house had ample room for all of us to cook together, whether it was inside on one of our rainy days or outside on the grill. We loved the arrangement of having 3 sofas so that all three couples could hang out together and relax. We all had the chance to catch up on sleep in comfortable beds on a rainy day and then to explore the area in Mattapoisett when it was sunny. The nearby beach was beautiful and being by the ocean on the beach was so relaxing. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet with friendly neighbors waving hello when we took walks. Our group made use of nearby first class restaurants and the nature areas nearby.

Perfect getaway!

We had an awesome time at the cottage. It’s a quick walk to the neighborhood beach that is very clean. Beautiful area and the neighbors always smiled and waved as we went by. The house was fully equipped and had everything we needed and more and was clean. We only had to buy food- all soaps and supplies were provided which was nice. The owners Matt and Carly were very responsive and friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food (Turk’s is a must!) and activities.

Basic Accommodations

Property was nice for a basic stay. Cottage is old but in a nice location. The sofa and throw pillows smelled of dog and we swept up quite a bit of dust/dog hair from under sofa. The kitchen was short on utensils and a blender would have been nice to have on hand. We kept the damaged blinds up so we didn't have to look at them. A step outside each entry door would prevent safety issues. The washer/dryer worked great and the outdoor area was great.

We are both lifelong Massachusetts residents and Matt has vacationed in Mattapoisett every summer since he was a young child when his parents purchased the property. We currently reside in the Greater Boston area with our dog, Lion.

It’s a wonderful, close knit neighborhood where you can always expect a smile and a wave from the other residents. We enjoy bringing our dog to the dog beach and walking the many trails in the Nasketucket Reservation.

The cottage is located in a quiet & family-friendly neighborhood where you can always expect a smile and wave from the other residents. The Atlantic Ocean is visible from the house. You get the Cape Cod-feel without dealing with the notorious traffic, expensive dining and crowded beaches. Close to many tourist attractions and no shortage of excellent restaurants.
