We absolutely love this home! This is our second retreat to Sequoyah Lake Lodge and we plan to do it again next year. Our group (10 middle aged woman with deep friendships from church) has talked about going somewhere else, but we simply can't stand the thought of leaving this amazing home with such a beautiful view. The kitchen is fully stocked with every dish, pot and pan you need. We loved having the Keurig and regular coffee pot each morning for all the coffee lovers. The beds are comfortable and snuggly warm. It rained most of the weekend but the view out the living room window to the lake, kept us from feeling closed in. It was so beautiful to watch the rain over the lake, sitting beside a nice warm fire in the fireplace. We read books, put puzzles together and played games. The downstairs deck is covered so weren't prevented from sitting outside in the rain. Before the trip, I needed to call the Highlands Office to order firewood and ask a few questions. The office staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. They are absolutely wonderful! Everything about this home is special and stunning! We can't wait to visit again!

Graduation Trip

We had a wonderful time- our goal was to see waterfalls, hike, and have water time. We did it all and had a wonderful house to stay at.

Very relaxing environment!

Beautiful setting

We loved being on the lake and enjoying the kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was so spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can tell the owners care very much about their home.

Retro house, gorgeous view!!

Felt like we went back into time. We loved the house very spacious!! Lots of kayaks and even a paddle board was offered so guest could enjoy the lake! We loved this house and will definitely be back!!

The location is excellent.

The location is excellent. Lakefront house, just 2 miles to downtown. House well planned for families. Kitchen is very well equipped. We love also “no shoes” rule in the house.

Highlands Getaway

Loved the views of the lake. It was clean and spacious. It served our group perfectly. I hope we are able to use the space again next year. This group of friends loves getting together in Highlands.

This is a wonderful home for getting away and relaxing.

This is a wonderful home for getting away and relaxing. We have stayed here twice and will be back Thanksgiving week. The view and location are amazing. The older adults stayed upstairs and the "young adults" stayed downstairs. The canoe, paddle board and kayaks were amazing. The house is wonderfully equipped with everything you would need.

Awesome on the lake property

Great home with lots of space and a huge deck right on the lake. We used the supplied kayaks every day. A great family get-together for us after not being together for almost 1.5 years. The description and pictures perfectly depict this great property.
