Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the bed comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. We would like to clarify one point regarding the door code. Our standard policy is to provide the access code 30 minutes prior to check-in, so it is not sent earlier than that. We understand that receiving the code close to arrival can feel inconvenient, but this is our established check-in procedure. We’re also sorry to hear that the home’s atmosphere and level of natural light did not meet your expectations. The property is situated in a wooded setting, and the surrounding mature trees are part of the character of the home and location. We do our best to accurately represent the property in the listing so guests can determine whether it is the right fit for their stay.

Hi James, I am very sorry you felt that you needed to leave a 1 star review on a property that receives 5 stars from other guests. We checked all of our communication through VRBO and through our office texting system and don't see where there was ever a complaint concerning any issues or these issues specifically. Those two small issues could have been resolved quickly as we do what we can to make sure our guests stay are satisfactory. On speaking with my staff, I was reminded that you had left a personal trash can that we retrieved and someone from your party came to our office to pick it up. I was also told that your wife had said you would have stayed longer had this property been available but you were moving to another VRBO. I have to wonder if the second VRBO you moved to is the one you had issues with and not ours. Regardless of which, I'm sorry you had a bad stay at whichever property. Had we had notice if this was our property, we would have done everything to try and correct the issue.
