You cannot beat this location. Absolutely incredible. Beautiful gardens, beautiful hosts, beautiful ocean. We ended up spending our entire stay right there because we couldn't tear ourselves away.

We had a wonderful stay! The perfect setting for couples who enjoy the outdoors. We spent two days exploring the beautiful coastline, and one of the highlights was discovering a starfish haven during low tide—an amazing and unforgettable treat!Adele is a master gardener, and it shows in her lovely garden, which adds so much charm to the property. She was also very accommodating when we arrived ahead of schedule, making us feel welcome from the start.

The host is super nice and has put a lot of work and thought into the property with the trail going down to the ocean. (Tons of hummingbirds and flowers) It is a workout to get up and down to the beach but we did it multiple times, there are many vantage points to hangout as you go. It is a nice neighborhood in Brookings and beach access, hard to beat.

Fantastic location... the cliffside preserve, decks, and semi-private beach access were wonderful. Enjoyed sunset on the Pergola deck and spent the evening listening to the crashing waves. The views are amazing. The Guest House is eclectic and comfortable. My son loved the loft area. It's close to town and all of the Samuel L Boardman sites. The host Adele was very accommodating and informative about the area and the property. Next time I am in Brookings, I will definitely stay here again.

This home was a unique experience (featuring a steam shower!!) with private beach access. Along the decent to the beach, there were several spots to relax and enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean (playground, table and chairs and comfy covered nook with cozy blankets). Inside the home featured a tranquil vibe that encouraged visitors to unplug and unwind. We enjoyed waking up at sunrise to have breakfast and coffee on the beach, having miles of beach to explore alone. It was truly an experience that we will never forget (family of 2 adults and 3 kids - 10,7,5)

We loved our stay at Adele’s property right on the beach! Adele and Rich were very welcoming to our family! The home was comfortable and we enjoyed all the artwork, landscape, and the private beach! My son even slept in the pavilion at night. What an adventure! We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

An amazing vacation rental! A little piece of paradise to enjoy during travel. The host is fantastic and friendly, the ocean view and PNW experience is top level and the opportunity to enjoy a bit of paradise was a true escape and time to relax from everyday life. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience easy from start to finish.The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being so close to the beach, and the trail down to the shoreline was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The kids had an absolute blast exploring, playing on the beach, and making memories we’ll always cherish.The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Brookings. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Adele was amazing with the process and the property was absolutely stunning. We caught sunrise that ovef look the ocean and were absolutely memorized. Truly a stunning view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the sofabed was also comfortable.

The property is set back from the road on a long driveway and there was plenty of room for our dog to roam around. Access to the beach is down a steep cliff with a variety of steps built into the hill (and a short ladder at the beach). This is a small but nice property. Very friendly guest hosts live in the main house. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay with Adele and Rich. Our family of 4 had plenty of room in the guesthouse. The house itself is designed to be comfortable and inspiring, and it is. We appreciated the artful touches.The property has incredible views and access to a beach that is simply one of the best I've ever spent time on. The tide pools are teeming with life, the beach was basically untouched as it is a long hike from public access. The only footprints we saw were own own. And possibly some deer and a raccoon.Our hosts were very kind and sincere, they were responsive and helpful to any questions we had. We had some great conversations during our stay and we are looking forward to our next visit.

My husband, our 1 year old, our two friends and two dogs stayed at Adele’s guesthouse for one night. We originally were booked for 3 nights but had to leave after one night due to the cleanliness of the property. The floors were dirty and covered with sand. Our baby crawls and walks and her clothing turned dark brown/black after only an hour of being on the floor. All of the sheets and blankets smelled like they had not been washed, and there was sand in the loft beds. In the loft, there were spider webs and open insulation. The toilet didn’t appear to have been cleaned between guests. The property itself is back off the road and the view you have is of the gravel driveway and surrounding area. You have to walk around the main house to get to the beach. It is a little treacherous getting down to the beach, especially if you have a small child. Our dogs also found it difficult but they made it down. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with an infant or toddler. I wouldn’t say this is a private stay as the main house is directly in front of the guesthouse. Adele would walk around the guesthouse and look through the windows. This felt invasive to us, which also contributed to us leaving. We notified Adele that we would no longer be staying there due to the cleanliness. She said she didn’t realize it had to be clean enough for a crawling baby. She subsequently cleaned after we left. Overall we were very disappointed in our stay and would not stay here again.

Some guests can never be pleased. Please read the other reviews -- all 10/10 -- and make your own judgements. The accusation of uncleanliness is shocking or rather amusing since the preceding set of 6 guests were medical professionals who rated my place "immaculate." All sheets had been washed. They always are on every standard turnover. Extra blankets are washed if and as used. It is not surprising that an active one-year-old baby left to explore the floor of a beach house, crawling, would get her clothing dirty. No matter how clean the floor is I did however offer to wash the floors again on my hands and knees while the guests were out, to get corners a standard cleanout may miss. As well as the ceiling area underneath the rafters in the loft where a bit of insulation and a single cobweb could be seen. But tell me -- Why would you bring a one-year-old up there? I have baby/pet gates expressly for the loft area so parents can keep curious toddlers contained. Speaking of which. Why did this guest allow her dogs -- one undeclared -- to sleep in my new bed!!! It is disappointing that this guest, her family and friends, did not get a chance to explore the delights that our Nature Preserve has to offer. They never even went to the beach as far as I could tell. The group left after her thorough inspection pointing out perceived infractions from the high rafters to under the sink and toilet. My concerns and inquiries were perceived as "invasive." Goodby & Good Luck!

Absolutely beautiful guest house, very comfortably accommodated 4 adults 1 toddler and an infant and two dogs no problem! Only a few minute walk through the back yard and you're on the gorgeous Pacific coast beach! Soul healing property and the host was more than happy to give me any advice on the local to do's! Will absolutely be staying again in the future!
