Welcome to Casa Cochimí, your home away from home in the peaceful Las Tunas neighborhood. With stunning 360° views of the ocean and mountains, a saltwater pool, and fast WiFi, this villa offers the perfect Baja escape — just a 10-minute walk to the beach and 3 miles (5 km) from the town center.

Ideal for up to 4 guests, each bedroom features a memory foam queen bed. The kitchen opens up to a serene back porch with unforgettable Pacific sunsets — perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The pool and laundry area are shared with other guests.

This is the downstairs unit of a two-level home, and the upstairs may be occupied by other guests. Both units have private entrances and are separated by a barrier, though walls are shared.

A car is necessary to access the property and get around town. The road to the house is unpaved and rocky. I’d suggest something with a bit more ground clearance. Free secure parking is available onsite.

**NEARBY ATTRACTIONS**
The villa is just a 10-minute walk (0.4 miles / 0.6 km) to the beach and the birdwatching lagoon. Enjoy easy access to fishing spots and peaceful walks along the shoreline.

Surfers will love the world-class waves at La Pastora, just two miles north. From December to mid-March, you may even spot whales right from the upstairs terrace.

Stunning 2 BR apartment, just as described. It was very comfy for our family of 3. We spent a lot of time at the pool, if you like swimming is the absolute highlight of the property. There are umbrellas and comfortable loungers. The apartment itself is modern and well equipped. Great value for money.

Hi! I’m Sophia — originally from Oregon, now splitting my time between Mexico City and the Baja peninsula. A few years ago, I left my corporate job to pursue something more fulfilling: I designed and built these villas from the ground up as a way to create beautiful, welcoming spaces and run my own small business.

Hosting isn’t just a side hustle — it’s a personal project that I’ve poured my heart into. From architectural sketches to choosing the pool tile and cactus placement, every detail was thoughtfully considered. I also work with a small team of amazing locals who help care for the homes and provide warm, professional hospitality to every guest.

When I’m not hosting, you can usually find with at the park playing with my dog, Mia, or working on my next creative project (with coffee or Baja wine in hand). I’m here to make sure your stay is relaxing, seamless, and filled with the best of this beautiful region.

You can look into the ocean from the villas, and while it’s not swimmable, it’s perfect for long walks, whale watching, or stargazing at night. There’s a sense of calm and privacy here that’s hard to find elsewhere. And yet, we’re just a quick 5 km drive to the heart of town, with its yummy restaurants, galleries, and markets.

It’s the perfect blend of off-the-beaten-path tranquility and creative energy. That’s what made me fall in love with it — and why I think you will too.
