Appartement privĂ© dans un domaine de 42 acres sur un sommet de la montagne, avec une vue spectaculaire sur l'ocĂ©an ci-dessous, et une toile de fond des montagnes sauvages de Kalmiopsis derriĂšre. Grande chambre avec lit king Californie et matelas Ă  rĂ©glage individuel de chaque cĂŽtĂ©, encastrĂ©e par des fenĂȘtres sur deux cĂŽtĂ©s pour permettre des vues dĂ©gagĂ©es sur l'ocĂ©an et la vallĂ©e de Winchuck en dessous de la mer. Grande salle de bain complĂšte, kitchenette et salon.

En dehors de l'entrĂ©e privĂ©e, vous trouverez un jacuzzi (idĂ©al pour profiter des couchers de soleil sur l'ocĂ©an) ainsi qu'un banc extĂ©rieur pour profiter de la vie privĂ©e et de l'environnement, surveiller les baleines ou lire ce livre que vous avez retardĂ©. C'est trĂšs calme, avec le son doux et doux, mais indĂ©niable du surf sous vous. À l'arriĂšre, des sentiers de randonnĂ©e et de vĂ©lo s'Ă©tendent sur des kilomĂštres dans les forĂȘts californiennes et ordoĂŻdes. La plage est accessible en 5 minutes en voiture en dessous de la propriĂ©tĂ©.

Patti and Rodney are wonderful hosts! Their place was spotless, comfortable, and had amazing views. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the ocean was really nice. The location of the place between Brookings and the Redwoods made it easy to enjoy the Natl Park yet still have quick access to good food and shopping. The flowers are so beautiful here! Highly recommend this place!

This VBRO exceeded my expectations. The views were absolutely breathtaking—sunrises over the mountains and sunsets that lit up the ocean. Such wonderful people and stellar views. Even on those foggy mornings, I could have sat and watched the clouds roll in and out all day. There isn't a full kitchen, but I made do with the hot plate (just something I thought folks should know). The bed was super comfortable. All good really. It was also delightful to watch the bats play just after sunset. Beautiful environment all around, lovely people. And a sweet pup as well. Charlie! I hope to stay again sometime. It was a peaceful location to get some writing done. Thank you!

Patti’s place was amazing from the moment we drove in. The view of the ocean, the gorgeous valley and her impressive gardens set the tone before we walked in the apartment. The save was clean, spacious, well appointed and everything we needed.

Beautiful Views! Fantastic Location!

We loved our stay! We spent both evenings relaxing on the lawn, watching the sunset over the ocean—it was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect: close to everything you'd want to see in the area, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and private. The space was comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a fantastic time!

This was everything the comments said. Relaxing, quiet (sorry if we got loud!!!), amazing view of the mountains to the north and ocean to the west. The sunset was beautiful. The bedroom views were nice to wake up to. The only thing I would suggest is maybe have a walkway to the entrance. I didn’t mind going through the grass, but didn’t want to get my shoes wet. Thanks for recommending the food! Such a peaceful mini-weekend vacation for myself and bff!! Thanks again for hosting and will definitely be returning!

We moved up from LA 14 years ago, and have operated a software and consulting business from this location. The climate and location make us feel like it's the perfect place to live, whether its sunny or rainy. We love the outdoors, whether it is walking our cute town or our beautiful beaches. My husband has fished all over the US and says we do have world-class fishing.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This is a downstairs apartment with a private entrance in our custom home on top of a 42 acre estate. We built the custom home on this property seeking the ideal combination of privacy, ocean views and sounds, as well as being able to see far into the back country (there's nothing much behind us for 100 miles).
You can see snowcapped vistas 80 miles away during the winter.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We are close to the beach. We have 3 National Parks within 20 minutes, there are trails to hike and great antiquing and shopping in Brookings. There is a fun port with great coffee, pizza, and restaurants. We have two movie theaters, antiquing, shopping and the best beach walks along a craggy coastline.
You can look at the shooting stars and pick out the constellations. You will feel like you can touch the moon! you will love it here.
We have elk, deer and beautiful soaring birds. We probably have 40 different kind of birds and occasionally see bald eagles right from our bench staring at the beach.
