Appartement privé dans un domaine de 42 acres sur un sommet de la montagne, avec une vue spectaculaire sur l'océan ci-dessous, et une toile de fond des montagnes sauvages de Kalmiopsis derrière. Grande chambre avec lit king Californie et matelas à réglage individuel de chaque côté, encastrée par des fenêtres sur deux côtés pour permettre des vues dégagées sur l'océan et la vallée de Winchuck en dessous de la mer. Grande salle de bain complète, kitchenette et salon.

En dehors de l'entrée privée, vous trouverez un jacuzzi (idéal pour profiter des couchers de soleil sur l'océan) ainsi qu'un banc extérieur pour profiter de la vie privée et de l'environnement, surveiller les baleines ou lire ce livre que vous avez retardé. C'est très calme, avec le son doux et doux, mais indéniable du surf sous vous. À l'arrière, des sentiers de randonnée et de vélo s'étendent sur des kilomètres dans les forêts californiennes et ordoïdes. La plage est accessible en 5 minutes en voiture en dessous de la propriété.

We loved our stay at Rodney and Patty's Private Estate; it was the highlight of our northwest trip and one of the best short term rentals we ever had. The apartment was perfect for the two of us, very private with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was huge and elevated to take advantage of the walls of windows and spectacular views...and it was very comfortable.The views were amazing, unobstructed mountain and seascapes in every direction. We had a difficult time leaving the beauty to venture out for the day.Rodney was very personable and kindly shared his knowledge and love of the area with tips on hikes and places to eat. We didn't get a chance to meet Patty, since she was traveling.The hot tub was a highlight after a day of hiking. Soaking and looking out at the incredible views and setting sun was very special, as was the total experience.

Patti and Rodney are wonderful hosts! Their place was spotless, comfortable, and had amazing views. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the ocean was really nice. The location of the place between Brookings and the Redwoods made it easy to enjoy the Natl Park yet still have quick access to good food and shopping. The flowers are so beautiful here! Highly recommend this place!

We moved up from LA 14 years ago, and have operated a software and consulting business from this location. The climate and location make us feel like it's the perfect place to live, whether its sunny or rainy. We love the outdoors, whether it is walking our cute town or our beautiful beaches. My husband has fished all over the US and says we do have world-class fishing.

This is a downstairs apartment with a private entrance in our custom home on top of a 42 acre estate. We built the custom home on this property seeking the ideal combination of privacy, ocean views and sounds, as well as being able to see far into the back country (there's nothing much behind us for 100 miles).
You can see snowcapped vistas 80 miles away during the winter.

We are close to the beach. We have 3 National Parks within 20 minutes, there are trails to hike and great antiquing and shopping in Brookings. There is a fun port with great coffee, pizza, and restaurants. We have two movie theaters, antiquing, shopping and the best beach walks along a craggy coastline.
You can look at the shooting stars and pick out the constellations. You will feel like you can touch the moon! you will love it here.
We have elk, deer and beautiful soaring birds. We probably have 40 different kind of birds and occasionally see bald eagles right from our bench staring at the beach.
