Jamie was wonderful from the get/go. Great communication, made sure we had a close parking spot to unload, gave us the grand tour and was extremely personable. She helped me through an incredible snafu I got my self into as well. I could not have gotten through it without her! Loved sitting on her porch and chatting while I waited for the arrival of my son who had been away for 3 years! Very cute, well attended VRBO. Highly recommend.

The property was very clean and the owner was very responsive. Parking was scarce-we had to go way down the block or on another street on occasion. We found the rules regarding the air conditioning and the check out process to be a bit excessive.

So you give me 4 stars because you couldn't get a parking spot near the house? This is Chicago and that's just the way it is...everywhere. No one can reserve street parking. And I also do not think asking the guests to turn off the air when they are gone all day is excessive since I offer to turn the air on an hour or 2 before they return. Lastly the check out rules are requested so I am not washing clean linens. I don't think stripping the beds are a big deal and taking out your trash is what all bnb guests are asked to do. Maybe next time you should stay at a hotel and not a bnb.

Jamie's Place is a charming, 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment fully stocked with everything needed for a short or longer stay. My girlfriends and I (3 all together) spent a couple of days here while touring the Chicago area. Jamie was in communication at every point needed, saved parking for us, walked thru very complete check-in/check-out and apt care instructions, and provided access to a furnished front porch and a beautiful backyard area for relaxing. The back area contained a lovely, well-kept garden. Very well situated to the city itself for driving (about 15 minutes no traffic, 30-40 with traffic). I did not look for public transportation so not sure what was around there. The location is a clean, safe, and quiet area. Will definitely stay with Jamie again and recommend you do as well.
