Perfect!

We loved staying here and being able to walk down to the beach in the morning. The kitchen, dining room, and bedrooms were just right for our needs. The balcony with a view of the ocean was lovely!

The first night was not what we had expected and we were ready to find another place to spend our week of vacation. But we stayed and tried to make the best of it. This unit was not what was indicated by the picture on the website. It only had a side view of the ocean and the picture indicated a bigger picture of the ocean.The floors were very dirty and I reported this to the office by leaving a voicemail and offered to show them a picture of my new white socks which I had worn for about two hours walking in the unit without shoes. They were unbelievably dirty and the stains did not wash out and are still dingy looking. I tried to contact the office to get a cleaning done but was unable to make contact and get this cleaning. We did stay the full week but were very disappointed with this unit.As elderly seniors we will not be traveling to Hawaii again but I urge others to please be sure to investigate any rental you are planning to stay in before traveling that far and spending so much money. So sad to have to be so honest about such a special place that I have enjoyed for many years, but I cannot tell a lie about something so disappointing that would cause others to suffer what my group did.

Great Value and Fun Location!

Nice place and pretty centrally located. We loved that there was a cute coffee shop and bakery within walking distance. There is also an ABC store close by, which worked out nicely for random odds and ends throughout our stay. Go to Dina’s at sugar beach for the best Mai tai!

Exactly what we needed

This condo was the perfect location for us. Having a beach right outside our door was ideal. It made beautiful sunrise walks and sunset swims a breeze. We’ll stay here again!

Two adults with two kids fit easily in the unit, dinners with 8 people also fit. Extra bonus was was the beach chairs and the beach umbrella. The bed was super comfortable (as I get older the mattress makes a big difference in the quality of sleep I get.

Convient and clean

Stayed for a wedding with my husband, sister and brother in law. Stocked kitchen gave us the option to cook in as much as we wanted. Nice pool and pool area.

One week w/family of 4 Adults

I love the location of this property, the grounds were immaculate and the beach was not busy at all. It was very peaceful. The condo is clean and the kitchen and bathrooms are nice. The only negative is that they really need a new mattress in the master bedroom as well as a new sofa/sleeper in the living room. Both were pretty uncomfortable.

Quiet end of Kihei

Spacious unit at the north (quiet) side of Kihei which was perfect for us. Easy access to beach. Good communication from property manager and check in was smooth. Could use new mattress in master bed room as mattress sinks and they tried reinforcing it with a foamy/sponge. Kitchen was well equipped but would have been nice if they provided dishwasher detergent/pucks. Overall, pleasant stay and would stay here again.

This place was perfect for our family. It was nice having a kitchen to have breakfast at home with a 5 yr old while we enjoyed our coffee. When we arrived maui was hit with a bad storm so we couldn't go in the water for a few days. But the walk on the beach by the condo was so nice. Let's not forget about the pool, which was perfect for the five yr old.

10 Days at the Nani

The TV system needs better instructions-hard to navigate all the various parameters available. There's a knob on the front door, which if turned, will allow the door to be opened from the outside. Renters need to be warned about this.

A average stay at best being totally honest

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented two u it’s and during our stay was construction. People jumping and running around above one of our two units and the units were so basic we didn’t get any extra towels, toliet paper or cleaning for an 11 day stay .

Aloha Westley, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with the condo you rented at Nani Kai Hale. We are very clear in our rental agreement, which you read and acknowledged, that we do not provide mid-stay cleaning and only provide an initial supply of paper products (which is an industry standard). Also, without hearing about the upstairs neighbor noise until the end of your visit made it impossible for us to ask the AOAO Manager to talk to the noisy guest. We find communication from our guests when they encounter issues is very important, and we are sorry the opportunity to offer solutions was missed.

Perfect Location

We've stayed at 2 different properties in Nani Kai Hale on Sugar Beach. It's the perfect location. The condo itself had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be returning to Nani Kai Hale and would definitely try to 302 again.

Our unit was well stocked and was very clean. All the floors have laundry facilities too. The grounds, pool and barbecue are kept immaculately, I like that there is a grassy area and also it’s right on the water.
