The house was exceptionally nice, very unassuming from outside curb of hill. Once you come in, you can definitely tell it is a modern take on a eclectic sensibility. Much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The pool and outside patio area were fantastic, with a wonderful view of the water. However, it is listed as a five bedroom home on Vrbos listing, however, we were unable to find two bedrooms, we were only able to find three. The staircase going up from the main entrance to the upstairs bedrooms, we believe to be very dangerous. The paint used on the stairs are very slippery, and there is no handrail. I recommend putting in a handrail immediately, and putting some sort of grip pieces on the stairs to prevent slipping. Two of our guests, including my husband fell multiple times. The use of the jet skis would have been redemption for anything negative the house offered, even if the host charged more, we would have been happy to pay it. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom did not work at all, we tried all combinations of switches and timers, but nothing. Also, the hot water heater does not seem to be large enough for a house of that size, so filling the bathtub only up a quarter of the way, ran the hot water heater down so much so we were never able to use the tub in the bathroom. The gas fireplace in the master bedroom in between the bedroom area and the bathroom area does not work at all. The addition of a hot tub near the pool area would be great.
