Welcome to Riffel's River Retreat, a serene 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath mountain escape in Blue River, just 7.4 miles from downtown Breckenridge. With private riverfront access and close proximity to popular trailheads like Quandary Peak, McCullough Gulch, and Blue Lakes, this home is perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Inside, you'll find original, handmade artwork crafted by the homeowner, including custom wood furnishings that add a personal touch. The entry, main living area, and one bedroom with an attached bathroom are step-free and suitable for most mobility needs. This home is pet-friendly!
Kitchen: Walk straight ahead from the front entry into the fully equipped kitchen, featuring full-size appliances, ample prep space, and all the cookware, utensils, and dinnerware you need for home-style meals. A traditional drip coffee is available as well as a Keurig.
Living Room: The main living room is a cozy and welcoming space designed for relaxation. Anchored by a beautiful stone-trimmed gas fireplace, it features a wall mounted flat screen TV with cable, and two plush reclining sofas positioned for comfortable seating by the fire, along with an additional sofa and lounge chair on the opposite side of the room.
Dining Room: Adjacent to both the kitchen and living room, the dining room offers an inviting space to gather, and there is seating for 6 at the dining table. There's 2 more seats at the kitchen island.
Lower Living Room: Head downstairs for added privacy and comfort, where you'll find three guest bedrooms, a second living area, and direct access to the backyard. The downstairs living area is perfect for larger groups or families, featuring two queen sleeper sofas, a TV, and a gas fireplace.

Laundry: A full-size washer and dryer can be found in the laundry room right next to the front door.

We are located in a high alpine environment where variable conditions may exist. Tire traction devices are also highly recommended as heavy snowfall is expected from November to May.
