Hi! We're a family in the exciting (and bittersweet) stage of becoming empty nesters, looking ahead to retirement and all the new adventures that come with it. As we enter this new chapter, we wanted a place where we could reconnect with nature, spend time with our grown kidsâand hopefully future grandkidsâand create lasting memories together.
We fell in love with this charming chalet and the peaceful community around it because it reminded us of the kind of place we would have loved to take our family when our children were younger. Surrounded by trees, trails, and wildlife, yet just minutes from the heart of Berkeley Springs, itâs truly the best of both worlds: a quiet nature escape with a cozy, small-town vibe.
We love hiking, exploring the outdoors, and simply enjoying the slower pace of mountain lifeâand this home gives us all of that and more. Since weâre still working and canât be here full time just yet, weâre happy to share this little piece of paradise with guests when weâre away. Itâs a space filled with love, laughter, and peaceful moments, and we hope it brings you the same joy it brings us.
