Maki sent us clear directions and great tips for Tokyo. The apartment was very comfortable and convenient for travel and essential items. We loved returning to the quiet, traditional and local town after a hectic day of sightseeing.

Lovely apartment! It is close to the train, so very convenient. Also tons of shops and restaurants close by. The owner was very nice and helpful! Everything was very easy! Great place to stay a bit away from the crowds! Definitely recommended!

Great place to stay

I loved staying in a quieter area of Tokyo , there’s a lot of good food in the area too. The station is very nearby , and the Yamanote line it is on is extremely convenient to get around Tokyo . The host is friendly and quick to respond to any questions .

Quiet neighborhood with easy Yamanote train access

Stayed here for 2 weeks, was easily able to explore Tokyo from here, it's a 5 minute walk to the Yamanote line station that goes all over the city. Host provided info ahead of time about the area and check in process. Komagome is a great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, konbini, and grocery stores nearby.

Nice apartment in a great location

Had a great time exploring Komagome and surrounding areas. Apartment was spotless, bed was comfy, and owner was very good at communicating. Easy check in and we were given lots of good info on how to get to the apartment from the airport and also things to do In Tokyo. Loved our stay here!

Good Location

The apartment was comfortable and quiet with easy access to the Yamanote line. The bedroom with two twin beds was a bit tight, but workable.

Convenient Place close to JR

We had a great time at Maki's place on our trip to Tokyo. The place was clean and he was very accommodating in letting us check out later due to a delayed flight. The condo is close to the JR and a cute alleyway with restaurants.

Family basecamp

The apartment was a great base camp for us to explore Tokyo. Was a little compact, but had everything we needed. Komagome is a nice, quiet neighborhood a bit off the beaten track, so a good place to come back to after visiting busier parts of the city. Nearby gardens are well worth a visit.

Cozy place

Maki’s place met all our needs for my family of 3. Easy access to trains, coffee, groceries and eateries. Appreciated his careful notes and suggestions for sight seeing. If you want to get away from the fray a bit and live like a local, this is definitely a great find.

Nice place and excellent communication!

Our stay was very comfortable and the place was clean and quiet. Maki provided excellent communication and customer service. The neighborhood was nice and close to lovely gardens. It was convenient for accessing the Tokyo attractions and a good escape from the crowds. We definitely recommend this property!

Lovely stay in Tokyo

It was a very nice stay in Tokyo. Maki was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Gave great suggestions for places to see the cherry blossoms around town. With four people, it was nice to be able to section off the living room like a second bedroom. I would happily stay here again.

Cozy Apartment in Fantastic Neighborhood

Great, well appointed apartment in the Komagome neighborhood, which we loved exploring with plenty of great food options within a couple of blocks. VERY easy access to the JY line to get anywhere in the Tokyo region. The washer was super convenient to use given we were traveling with toddlers who constantly had dirty clothes. We'll be back!

Easy comfortable and speaks English

My 19 year old son and myself scheduled 1 week trip for pleasure from the US before he stayed for a school study program. Owner provided detailed information in English that was very helpful for the apartment and the area and surrounding areas. It was well kept and safe. I would recommend this to friends and family
