Un Gearasdan a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ© selon les normes les plus Ă©levĂ©es en 2007 et l'annĂ©e suivante a remportĂ© le prestigieux prix RIAS dont les propriĂ©taires sont Ă  juste titre fiers. La maison peut accueillir confortablement 8/10 personnes - elle est suffisamment grande pour accueillir 2 familles ou un grand groupe d'amis. Elle est dotĂ©e d'un mobilier contemporain et prĂ©sente une dĂ©coration fraĂźche. Logement en bas se compose d'un grand vestiaire, buanderie avec lave-linge, sĂšche-linge, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur-congĂ©lateur, un w. c et salle de douche. Dans le couloir se trouvent 4 chambres doubles (deux avec lits jumeaux, une avec lit king et une avec superking) (une en suite), une salle de douche familiale et un salon de tĂ©lĂ©vision sĂ©parĂ© comprenant un petit canapĂ©-lit double. L'Ă©tage est lumineux et ouvert avec une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec grand rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, fours et micro-ondes. Il y a une bibliothĂšque bien garnie de livres et de jeux familiaux intĂ©ressants et une table Ă  manger pour 10 personnes. Trois grands canapĂ©s entourent un poĂȘle Ă  bois moderne Jotul. La maison offre tout le confort nĂ©cessaire pour complĂ©ter vos vacances.

Stunning location and a great house for a group of family and friends

Great beach walks and trips over to Skye on the Ferry. A lovely shop and pub in the village - and even a nearby brewery, which we visited a few times too. Plenty of Cycling/ paddle boarding done - and loads of wildlife to see. We will definitely go back.

Gorgeous Glenelg!

A great property with views to die for! Kay was super helpful and great and speedy with answering queries!House had everything we needed! Local shop excellent! Pub great for night off from the cooking! A wonderful time was had by all! A lovely remote getaway with amazing mountains and hills! Just be careful of the ticks when walking through bracken and long grass! Ticks and Midges... A small price to pay for such a lovely time in the Highlands!Thanks Kay!

My family and I spent 5 nights at this beautiful house.The location is lovely with amazing views across to Isle of Skye.From booking to check in the experience was good as the host responded to messages quickly through the website. Facilities within the property are good with lots of extras for families with small children The village itself has a small shop and a local pub. I would highly recommend having dinner at the pub, food is really good.Ferry trip over to Skye was also a really interesting experience.

We booked this house for our friends and then our family to stay in for our wedding in Glenelg. Everyone was really happy with the accommodation and facilities. The views are incredible and the things provided are very thoughtful and give you everything you need for a stay in the area.

Another Wonderful Stay

We love this property. It is a great space for sharing with family and friends. Fabulous views over to Skye and close to the pub. What more can you want ? Great facilities. Laundry room and a huge boot room at the entrance so plenty of room for jackets and walking boots etc. Four good size bedrooms and a downstairs lounge. Upstairs is such a wonderful space and it really makes the property a great place to be. Good communication with the owner which always helps.

We have stayed in An Gearasdan on a number of occasions and have been visiting Glenelg for over 24 years. The property is lovely, very well set out and perfect for groups and a couple of dogs. The view down the sound is spectacular and the locals are lovely. We cannot fault the house or location and hope to return for many more years.

An Gearasdan is a fabulous property in a stunning location. Glenelg is one of our favourite places to visit & this is the first time we have stayed at this property and we will definitely return. A very welcome break

Our fourth stay here and we just love it. The scenery and tranquility is fantastic. The house itself offers everything we could need and the local pub is so close. We did some paddle boarding this year which was new to some of us. Apart from that we did some walking, geo-cashing -again, new for some of us - and general lazing about. Another great week and next year to look forward to !

A Wonderful Week Away

This was our third time at An Gearasdan. We find the house to be ideal for housing us and all the kids who are now grown up. The house has everything you could possibly need for a week away. The kitchen is well equipped with various sizes of pans, bowls etc., lots of cutlery as well as food mixer, coffee maker, roasting tins etc. A short stroll to the pub for a lovely meal and the beach is close by for picnics.

We found the perfect spot with the most amazing view and with the help of the incredible architects built our dream house in Glenelg.
