A rustic tiny cabin with easy road access, just a short walk from shared New River access and a beautiful waterfall! 10 minutes to both West Jefferson and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Let the nature of Appalachia inspire you, like it did for Teddy Roosevelt in the 1910s at Pine Knot. The Calm Down Cabin is perfect for 1-2 people and can sleep 4 with a comfy pull out bed. River tubes are included on the property. Zaloo’s Canoes is a 4 minute drive!

The place sneaks up on you, but the walkway was well lit. We didnt see the Moose til the next day and it was spectacular! The bed was comfy and the property was quiet. The only thing we found surprising was the lack of silverware, but the plastic fork box discovery completed our trip. If we are ever back in Jefferson we would stay here again.
