Bienvenue dans notre spacieuse maison privée de 1650 m² avec piscine privée située sur la péninsule d'Ormond au bord de la mer. 4 minutes à pied de la plage vers l'est. 4 minutes à pied de la voie navigable intercostale en direction ouest.
Notre place est à seulement 30 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport international de Daytona et à 10 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Daytona.
Vous pouvez être à Orlando pour visiter les parcs de classe mondiale (Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, etc.) en 90 minutes.
La maison est située dans un quartier résidentiel sûr, a une piscine grillagée dans la cour privée et beaucoup de charme pour vous aider à profiter de votre séjour.
Cette maison est idéale pour les couples, les groupes d'amis et les familles.
La propriété a tout cela .. carrelage, TV à écran plat et mobilier confortable.
Notre confortable et accueillant 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain est un excellent choix pour vos voyages.
La chambre principale dispose d'un lit king-size et d'une salle de bains privative avec une douche à l'italienne carrelée et une baignoire.
Il y a deux chambres, une avec 1 lit queen et l'autre avec 2 lits jumeaux. La salle de bain d'hôtes a un combo douche / baignoire. Nous avons également un lit gigogne qui se déplie en un lit king size. Les serviettes de bain et les draps sont fournis.
Notre plan d'étage est parfait pour se divertir. Les chambres sont nichées dans le couloir de la zone principale. Parfait pour quand les enfants dorment; les parents peuvent continuer le plaisir!
La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un repas maison.

Great place to stay with family

Affordable with a pool and a short walk to the beach. Convenient location overall without being at a crowded beach in front of a hotel or resort.

Family gathering

The house worked well for the four of us. We have family in the area and it was wonderful to have them over and sit poolside for our visit. The neighbor was great, easy access to the beach and other activities.

Amazing vacation!

Absolutely loved this house! The location was excellent. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. Very short drive to restaurants and stores. Comfortable beds and very clean house! There was plenty of space for me and my big family . Very cozy and an enjoyable stay. We love the private yard and a big pool!! Would love to stay here again! Definitely recommend!

The location and the pool great

The place needs updated. It seems like they bought everything from a yard sale, one good pan to cook breakfast on, the towels very old and we had to sweep the floors with all the dirt.

Sorry, we got on your wrong side by asking you to pick up your dog feces from our front and back yards. Our vacation home is in good state of repair and well supplied. We live nearby and work diligently to make sure that everything is clean and in good order for our guests enjoyment.

good house, bad TV options

We chose this area because I have friends that live nearby.My buddy and I are avid sports fans and looked forward to watching the NFL playoffs together. We were upset to discover that we couldn't watch most of the games because there was only a Roku device, no cable TV package. Being from Canada any streaming services we had back home were not accessible from the USA. I never imagined that this would be an issue.Next time we rent a VRBO it will be at the top of my list of questions

Dear Hirsh, Sorry you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. We work hard to make your experience as positive as it is humanly possible. You were a little disappointed with the wether. As far as cable, we do have basic cable through Spectrum. Spectrum streams its channels through Roku. In addition to that we have broadband internet access. You can view a lot of programs available on internet. We are finding that our guests do not watch cable channels but use remote access to view what they want. Our Canadian friends seem to have difficulty with remote access. We spent a long time on the phone with the cable company trying to add sports channels but you were not willing to pay for added services. You found a free trial access that allowed you to watch sports. Everything is well that ens well. Cheers.

Not the ‘family friendly’ experience we expected

We had previously stayed at this property in 2013 and enjoyed the location and amenities available for family fun. We were thoroughly disappointed with our decision to return to this home. The ‘family friendly’ games were no longer there (there seemed to be a 500 piece puzzle in a ziplock bag, bottom of a storage cube and master bedroom closet - at least the empty puzzle box was a 500 pc). The tv didn’t work the whole time we were there (as the direct tv dish pole had rusted through at the ground and was laying in the grass) our daughter and grandkids left 3 days early as there was nothing to do when the weather didn’t allow beach or pool. We had to clean the kitchen (stove top, counters and dishes) before we used it - there was old food in the silverware drawer. The house didn’t seem like it had been well taken care of in the 8 years since we had been there. The dryer had a piece of romex used as a handle to open the door, the screen room around the pool was so torn up that it let all the bugs in, and the grass around the property was severely overgrown (kids couldn’t play in the yard - when we asked about the grass, we were told the weather was making it difficult - although all the other houses on the street had no problem with their lawn service) We were extremely disappointed and will definitely choose another rental when we return.

Dear Wendy, Thank you very much for returning to our vacation home after so many years. We improved the house since your previous stay. We are sure it is cleaner and more cozy than wit was when you stayed there the previous time. We are sorry that we could not get an appointment with the Dish company to fix the antenna promptly for you. Kids now days are used to many gadgets. We only provide some cable channels and WiFi. If the only option you and your daughter can come up with is sit the kids in front of a TV it is not our problem. We have three TVs in the house with HDMI interface and 200 Mbit internet with Wi-Fi. You could have brought your own streaming devices, etc.. Additionally, there are so many things to visit in our area. A trip to St. Augustine to see the fort, old town, yachts on the river could make a great day of family fun. You can take a tour of Daytona Speedway, visit numerous nature preserves in the area, light house at Ponce Inlet. In addition to a private pool and great beach these are great reasons to stay at our house. if you wanted to work on a 500 piece puzzle you could have bought one for a few bucks, stay home, and not spend money to rent our house. By the way, there are no bugs in the area because of the salty air since we are so close to the ocean.

Ormond Beach House

The good: Carolyn was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The inside of the house was very clean and worked well for our family. The location was also great!!! Being able to park in the garage was a bonus! The neighborhood is nice and quiet- great for a family vacation. The beach is just down the street, which was very nice. The not so good: The outside needs some TLC. The pool area could use a good cleaning and the yard is in need of care. The house would not cool below 80* during the day even after following suggestions from Carolyn . The pool pump was not working well while we were there, unfortunately the part did not come to fix it until the day before we left, so the pool was not being filtered correctly. We had to work to skim the pool, but the things they had available had large holes in them making it challenging. While I understand that it was out of the homeowners control, paying full price when the pool and air were subpar Is disappointing.

Great Place

It’s a great place. Loved the pool. The walk to the beach was about 4 minutes, so no complaints there. Had a garage that we could park in. The pool area could stand a pressure washing, but the pool itself was super clean. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay there again. My only issue was the internet was kinda slow. That’s if I HAD to find a complaint. Carolyn was super helpful and timely in her responses.

Great Beach House

Perfect house for family - quiet neighborhood, half block from ocean, plenty of room. AC doesn’t keep the house extremely cool but doable after the first day of being there. Pool area could be a little cleaner but we loved the pool! Definitely would come back.

Could have been better!

The house itself was very clean. The outside not as much. The grounds were not maintained on a timely basis - the weeds were close to a foot high at times! The pool area is very dated and really needs an upgrade. For the monthly rental paid, and the little difference in cost, the TV package should have been the highest category, not the lowest (particularly since we offered to pay the difference).

Vacation

First I want to say this property was extremely clean and in a great location. I had a few issues however. I feel since I paid a decent amount of money to stay at a home everything should be usable at the home. The screen door from the bathroom to outside was unusable and note stating not to use it. That was inconvenient. The thermostat had a note to not set it below 75 or the AC unit may break? Ok???? The floor in the laundry room (which is in the garage so you have to walk out in the hot garage just to do laundry) was constantly wet. So wet that it drained out into the garage floor. I couldn’t tell if it was the furnace or the washer causing it. The pool area is NOT as pictured. It definitely needs some painting and a face lift all together. Like I said earlier, the house was clean and the location is great but I just think the owners need to put in a little work.

Dear Laura, Thank you for choosing our pool home for your vacation again this year. We work hard to make it an enjoyable experience for our guests. There was a problem with AC condensate line that caused the wet floor in the laundry room. We wish you informed us about the problem when you first noticed it so we could fix it. We ask our guests to set AC at 75 degrees because, according to our HVAC company, it is the design temperature for the majority of AC systems in Florida at least in single family homes. With 90 degrees outside 75 degrees inside is what most single family homes AC systems will deliver. We keep our home at 77 during the day and 75 at night and are very comfortable. As far as other issues that you mention, all the photos posted on the website are taken at this house. As far as our rates and the amount of money you paid, it is much higher than it used to be when you rented from us before because of the commission charges from the vacation rental website. Our rates are very competitive in this area. Thank you again for choosing our home.

Great stay in Ormond By The Sea

My family and I stayed in Carolyn's home from June 22nd through the 29th. Everything was as described. when we first arrived, the layout of the home seemed a little odd, but it actually ended up working perfectly for our family. The pool was large and clean and a great relief from the heat. The home was complete with towels, cookware, beach chairs and basically everything you could need. To be honest, there were only 2 "negatives" I found. And that was the lack of water pressure, not sure if this is normal for the area, and the handle on the toilet in the master bathroom was a little tricky, but it didn't bother us too much. The beach is indeed a 4 minute walk from the house and it's absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and not crowded at all. It's a great little town with lots of good places to eat and parks to hike in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lastly, Carolyn was very communicative and quick to answer any questions we had which was very much appreciated. Would stay again!

A 5 minute walk to the ocean and your own private pool!! Perfect ❤️

This is a very large house for the price. The layout is nice and it is kept clean. Everything you need to cook with is in the kitchen, just buy your food. Which is tax free, nice!! The pool is fantastic, my family and I spent hours out of practically every day relaxing and enjoying it. Carolyn is super attentive and couldn't have been more helpful.

Highly recommend!

This property was perfect for our family vacation.Great place that is well kept and spotlessly clean. Well furnished with lots of good features like TV with good cable channels,WIFI , screened porch, nice pool. The location is right near the beach which was great. I would absolutely come back here , we had a great time.
