Discover one of the most beautiful vacation homes on Minnesota’s North Shore. Located at the eastern end of Tofte with direct access to the Gitchi-Gami State Trail, just minutes from Lutsen and Grand Marais, this fully updated condo offers the perfect blend of comfort, style, and breathtaking Lake Superior views throughout the condo and has 3 separate decks with seating.

Step inside to find a quiet, thoughtfully designed space ideal for couples, families, or small groups. The condo features two bedrooms; the second bedroom includes a king bed with panoramic views, while the primary bedroom boasts one queen bed and one twin/daybed and an ensuite full bathroom.

Both full bathrooms are stocked with soft towels and eco-friendly bath products ensuring your stay is cozy and convenient. You will love the wide-open living area complete with a comforting gas fireplace, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation after a day of adventure.

The updated kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, a coffee maker, a crockpot and more. You can easily prepare meals with ease (just bring your favorite ingredients) and getting started with cooking!

Outside, enjoy the shared lakeside fire pit and picnic area at Gull Harbor, perfect for making s'mores. You can also unwind in the building’s sauna after a day of exploring. You will enjoy the private Lake Superior beach, its truly incredible, as well as the beautiful private ledge rock!

What makes Gull Harbor special?

• A tranquil setting within a smaller condo/building atmosphere (there are only 7 condos total in the building)

Things to note:
• Access; the property requires navigating stairs including 12 exterior steps to reach the main entry, additional steps inside, and more to access the shoreline. As such, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges.
• Streaming accounts, Guests are required to sign out of any streaming accounts before departure.

We loved the ability of being right on the water. The beautiful views were peaceful and made for a wonderful time to sit back and relax. The amenities were abundant, from the kitchen supplies, linens, fireplace and sauna. Great use of space for two bedrooms and two baths. Would definitely consider coming back.

We chose to take a spontaneous trip to relax with friends, who arrived in a camper van, while we booked a VRBO accommodation. Due to its secluded location and limited nighttime lighting, we arrived late at 10pm. After locating the property, we unpacked and retired around midnight. The next morning, we rose at 5am to prepare for sunrise photography. The property listing explicitly prohibited smoking within the building and shared deck areas but did not address private balconies. We were subsequently harassed for smoking on our private balcony and inviting friends from a nearby camp to join us for lunch and picture taking before we all head out togather. Smoking occurred outdoors, not within shared spaces. We were falsely reported to property management for exceeding the five-person overnight limit. In reality, our friends visited briefly for lunch and photography. Management demanded our departure, citing smoking, overcrowding, and excessive noise. It's interesting to note that other families with children were present, generating considerable noise, yet our unit was singled out as problematic, raising concerns about potential bias because we were a group of Asian Americans. I love the scenic view there but I would not recommend this property for someone of color. We didn't not feel welcome by the property owner. Although the host was able to refund us the second night. Our supposedly relaxing getaway turned into a stressful and nightmarish experience of hate.

Your experience at Gull Harbor was entirely unfortunate and full of confusion and for that we are truly sorry. We really believed that the factors you mentioned in your review were discussed and remedied via an actual conversation with the management but it seems clear that that was not the case. Our instructions have always stated that there is no smoking allowed anywhere within or near the condo and we hopefully have now made that even clearer within our instructions. Feeling any sense of bias is entirely unacceptable and the fact that you sensed anything like that at all is nothing short of horrible to hear. We do have a maximum guest limit due to licensing laws and were not aware that you had family visiting. When we were informed by other guests/owners that the number of guests seemed to exceed the rule, we were forced to reach out in order to verify/confirm this factor. If more guests are in house than allowed, the owner could have severe repercussions to withstand. Both management and the owner felt we had cleared up any confusion in speaking with you and finding out the details about your smoking and having other guests visit you and certainly apologized profusely to you for any discomfort you experienced. We are sincerely sorry that wasn't ultimately the end result.

Each room has lake view! The alcove is perfect for sitting in or out & enjoying the lake view, very private. The amenities in this unit are spot on and then some. Very well done. Close to so many hiking places and beautiful drive to Grand Marais. We’ll refer others and may return!

Great place, I'd come back to again! The kitchen has everything, the core was tremendous. Maybe the only thing I can say is practice a user manual for the convection oven but that's a minor thing. Overall it was spectacular!
