À propos de cet hébergement
Lakefront Family Retreat - 3BR, 2 King Beds, Walk to Town
Welcome to Hemlock House on Lake Flower!
Located right on the shores of Lake Flower in Saranac Lake, NY, Hemlock House is the perfect retreat for your Adirondack getaway. Step outside to complimentary seasonal boats, a private dock, fire pit, and lakefront just steps from your door. Walk into town for cafés, shops, and the farmers market, or take a short drive to Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, Keene, and the High Peaks. Guests also enjoy a private deck with grills and seating, plus direct lakefront access.
Note: the lakefront sits across from Route 86, so sound carries over the water. Light traffic and boat noise are common, but many guests feel it’s a small trade-off for the convenience of this walkable location.
Discover Saranac Lake
A hidden gem of the Adirondacks, Saranac Lake is full of fresh air, mountain views, and that slow-down-and-breathe energy we all crave. Whether you’re planning a romantic weekend, family escape, or solo recharge, the area offers something for everyone.
Four seasons of adventure
Paddle crystal-clear waters in summer
Hike or bike through vibrant fall foliage
Ski, snowshoe, or relax fireside in winter
Enjoy farmers markets, live music & festivals in spring
Local charm + hidden gems
Stroll downtown to explore art galleries, indie shops, and historic “Cure Cottages.” Sip craft coffee or cocktails at cozy spots only found here.
Easy planning
Want to know what’s happening while you’re here—events, trails, or restaurants? Just search “Saranac Lake” for local guides and up-to-date info.
Hemlock House combines the best of both worlds: peaceful lakefront living, complimentary boats, and walkable access to the heart of Saranac Lake.
Important Notes
• The ice is never safe to walk on.
• Wear life jackets at all times when boating.
• No boating or swimming between Columbus Day and Memorial Day. Boats and water equipment are not available during this time.
• In winter, use 4-wheel drive and snow tires—do not drive down the hill without them.
• Surfaces may be slippery in winter; property is not wheelchair accessible.
Our Favorite Things (all within walking or paddling distance!)
• RiverTrail Beerworks – great drinks and food
• Hotel Saranac Bar – for a classic cocktail
• Left Bank Café or Fiddlehead – cozy dinners (reservations recommended)
• Bitters & Bones or Skullery – burgers & fries
• Nori’s, Origin, or Blue Moon Café – coffee & breakfast
• Little Italy – pizza takeout
• Nori’s or Lakeview Deli – easy lunch
• Donnelly’s, Pinecone, or Mountain Mist – ice cream treats
• Paddle to Mountain Mist, the Farmers’ Market, or Concert in the Park
• Goody Goody’s & the Saturday Farmers’ Market – shopping finds
• Hike Baker Mountain for great views
