I love this area because of its style. We purchased the building which was built in the 40's over 25 years ago and have fully renovated it to modern standards. We thoroghly enjoy being apart of this vibrant neighborhood and the neighbors are just wonderful on the entire street.
The Bellemeade area of Greensboro, is a downtown neighborhood known for its urban residential buildings, luxury apartments, and proximity to major city attractions. The area's name comes from a grand 19th-century mansion, which was located at what is now the corner of Edgeworth and Bellemeade streets before it was demolished for commercial development in the 1950s.
The neighborhood is situated in downtown Greensboro, near key landmarks like First National Bank Park, the Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, and the Wells Fargo Tower.
The Bellemeade name serves as a connection to Greensboro's past. The original mansion was a prominent landmark built around 1867. While the home is gone, its legacy is commemorated through street names and historical artifacts.
The neighborhood is designed for city living, with high-density apartments and a bustling, convenient atmosphere.
