Arya’s cottage - NO SMOKING

Adults only, 18&older, 2 quests only. NO SMOKING or VAPING allowed anywhere inside or outside. You will be charged a damage fee if this is disregarded. Dogs welcome for an additional fee. Peaceful and centrally-located place. From your loft bedroom overlook beautiful rolling pastures. Take a stroll on our walking trails or through the woods, read a book, sit around your fire pit, soak in the jacuzzi, or head 6 miles to downtown for some nightlife or an event at the Tanger Center or Coliseum. Within 15 minutes to several Universities/Colleges & Hospitals. Come enjoy our farm.
The space
Open living room with stocked kitchen that includes full sink, refrigerator, dual hot plate, and an air fryer microwave. Upstairs loft bedroom includes a queen bed with beautiful view out double windows and is open to space below. Large bathroom downstairs and an outdoor shower.
Guest access
You will have the entire cottage minus the garage, a patio, and jacuzzi to enjoy. If you are wishing to bring a pet (dog only) please add the pet fee for each pet and send a pre-approval request. All dogs must be leashed and picked up after.
Other things to note
Have space for your horses to stay over as well. Message us for pricing and setup. We also have a lovely german shepherd, chickens, roosters, and 2 fainting goats.

Perfect peaceful weekend getaway. The hot tub was glorious, the bed comfy and the animals were therapeutic! We slept like babies with the windows open overlooking the moon. The little cabin is very cute and stocked with everything needed for a lazy weekend. It feels like you’re far out in the country but still so close to shopping and restaurants. Rain and her family were so welcoming and friendly. We’re already planning our next visit!

Anniversary Trip

Relaxing Getaway

The cottage is located in a beautiful tranquil setting, close to downtown Greensboro. It's clean and very comfortable.

PROS: Farm setting – loved watching the horses. It was very quiet which we appreciated especially at night. The cottage was very clean (#1 most important in my book) and cute inside, just as the pictures show. It was nice the host left a few K-cups to avoid going to a store. The shower was nice, very spacious and the towels were thick and luxurious. It was too hot out to use the hot tub but if not, we definitely would have appreciated that.CONS: The biggest disappointment was the listing was advertised as having a washer and dryer on site but none was available. The host was I felt dismissive when I brought this to her attention. The bed wasn’t awful for a short stay but the mattress could use an upgrade. There is a giant electric tower and electric lines right out the front window, not very scenic. All the signs around the house were a little off-putting We are dog lovers so the dogs didn’t bother us but if we were afraid of dogs, I think they would have been a problem as they were often loose and actually chased us down once (but are not in anyway dangerous) and tried to climb in the car with us. The owner called them back but an “I am so sorry” would have gone a long way. Honestly, I think a little more communication from the host, friendliness, apologies for things not being as they should would have made a lot of this a non-issue.

Unfortunately, this guest was difficult to satisfy despite our prompt and thorough responses to her many questions and concerns. We assisted with questions about the TV and a specific app, and explained that VRBO had incorrectly displayed a washer/dryer amenity that our property has never offered and does not have hookups for. We apologized for the listing error, explained the availability of local laundromats, and offered to provide documentation showing the amenities as listed on our side. The guest also expressed concerns about the mattress, which is only a few months old, and our dogs, who approached her in a friendly manner while she was at her car. We immediately called them back and apologized. This is a farm property where animals are part of the environment, make noise, and love people’s attention. We made every reasonable effort to address her concerns, but it became clear that the property was not a good fit for her expectations. We would recommend that future guests carefully review the amenities and consider whether a farm setting with resident animals is suitable for their stay. Safe travels!
