The view alone is worth the trip. Perched atop a private mountain, this custom upscale home offers jaw-dropping western views of the Smokies, where you’ll watch the sun set nightly over layered ridgelines right from your deck or hot tub.

With 2 spacious king size bedrooms, 3 full baths, and room for 6+ guests, this home blends comfort, adventure, and luxury. Whether you’re here to hike, chase waterfalls, cast a fly rod, or just unwind in peace with a view, this is your perfect mountain retreat.

This is more than just a home, it’s your personal escape in the heart of the mountains. Soaring 20-foot ceilings, massive windows, and curated details make the interior feel bright, cozy, and high-end. Every room offers sweeping mountain views and comfortable furnishings that invite you to slow down.
On the main level, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living space, and two spacious king bedrooms (each with two twin trundles underneath). Downstairs, enjoy a game room, library nook, and home gym corner - perfect for rainy days or relaxed evenings in. Want to just stay in and take it easy? Stream a movie with high speed Starlink internet, soak in the hot tub, grill dinner outside, or grab a book and stretch out in the hammock.

We had the best memories made at this amazing cabin! It was so clean and the views are breathtaking- we were in awe and every morning we wake up above the clouds. It truly was like a “walk in the clouds”, more like morning coffee, hot tubbing, fire pit, and s’more making in the clouds! It was well stocked and love all the little baskets with more items so thoughtful placed in all the bathrooms. Star gazing here was awesome as well! Great cabin and great hosts who were so responsive to all my questions. We had the best time there and we hope to be back for sure!

This home is a MUST STAY! Absolutely unbelievable, incredible experience! Steph and Mike were great hosts, and ensuredall of the details are taken care of to provide a seamless stay. The views from the house are breathtaking providing the best start and to our days exploring and hiking.

My wife, dog, and I stayed here for a week. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The drive up the side of the mountain wasn’t that bad at all (stayed in low gear in my pickup truck the entire trip up — make sure to read the signs). The house is well equipped. The bathrooms have some small toiletry items in case you forgot something, which we did!Plenty of books, board games, music options, activities for everyone in the house. We really enjoyed the cool evenings around the fire pit. The hot tub felt great after long hikes on trails nearby. Waking up to the clouds filling the valley below left us in awe. The views from the back patio were mesmerizing. Plenty of food places and things to do in town/surrounding area. If you’re looking to escape from reality and relax to the fullest, this is the place! Thank you for having us!

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and it was absolutely incredible. The view from every room was honestly breathtaking. We spent our nights by the fire pit, relaxed in the hot tub, and ended up playing pool downstairs for hours. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed.The host was amazing, super responsive and even offered extra amenities in case we forgot anything. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this mountain retreat!

This home is the perfect mountain retreat, complete with incredible views like I haven't experienced before! It's at the top of the mountain so we chose not to make too many trips to and from town. The house is clean, organized, and stocked with anything we could need - toiletries, kitchen items, and games/activities. We had our three kids and my parents there for a trip to Polar Express, and the home provided the perfect amount of space. The host was easy to communicate with and even provided a packet of helpful info about the house and recommendations of things to do and places to visit. It was very well-thought out, and much appreciated! I'd definitely recommend Sunset Peaks to others! :)

The place was wonderful. Beautiful and well kept interior and exterior. The views off the backporch was something magical for the family and I. Sunsets were something you did not want to miss. Clean space. Clean Bathrooms. We liked the decor. The space and seating was suited for my four person family. Game room downstairs was great and it led straight to the ground patio, firepit, and jacuzzi. Essentially private location with trees surrounding the property. Only one neighboring home and it was by no means inteferring with views or experience. We went in March so the leaves were not on the trees. And we missed the snow. We can only imagine how nice it will be during the summer and fall.The drive and climb to the cabin was fine. Starts off paved then transitions to compacted gravel. If you come from flat lands, then you'll need to get acclimated to slopes. That said, we were driving a 4 door Honda Accord hybrid and it managed just fine. If you've never driven gravel roads with switchbacks, just take your time and take the turns wide enough to see where you're going. There were signs saying it too! From the main road, it was more paved then gravel. To summarize, we loved the place and would definitely go back.

This house was AMAZING! We used to live in Bryson City and have stayed in many, many rentals since moving away 12 years ago. This house is in the top 3 of places we have ever stayed (anywhere). The view is out of this world. The house was so clean and was supplied with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed everything it had to offer. Stephanie was an amazing host and was always available if we had any questions. Thank you for the memorable vacation. We will be back!
