This is an older home that has undergone some renovations. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. We missed having a guidebook with recommendations for the area as well as helpful notes for the house. The house is located in an excellent area within a walk or short drive to many restaurants, shopping and sites making it easy for newcomers to experience the area.

The property was perfect for myself and my two adult sons. The host made everything seem less for us. Great location as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. 11 out of ten!

Communication with the host was very good . The house was older than expected . Sheets on sofa bed were soiled , but we had additional clean sheets to use. Kitchen would benefit from being better stocked . (Additional dish towels, sponge missing , additional frying pan .) Steps to the kitchen , bathroom and bedroom are steep . Street parking available ….

Screen door was broke, would not close properly. Inside was very clean and comfortable beds. We just slept there and is fine for 2 people but not more.

Nicely appointed property in Portland's West End. Served well for adults. There are steep stairs to the upstairs bathroom and kitchen which might be difficult for those with mobility problems.Great location, would stay here again.

Nice small house for short stay

The house is good and reasonably appointed for a short stay. Beds quite comfortable and home is clean You can walk to downtown port area easily. Very peaceful residential street. Enjoyed our short visit.

Charming property and friendly hosts, with easy access to the airport, major highways as well as local spots. We used this as a sort of base camp to look at a number of colleges in the area. Wished to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again.

Long weekend with a friend

The location was perfect--an easy walk to restaurants and beaches. The hosts' binder of places to go was helpful. It was also nice having bedrooms on two separate floors.

Great city trip and biking

My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend exploring Portland, rented bikes and saw the light houses. The apartment is adorable, spacious and quirky, exactly as you see on the pictures. In walking distance to downtown. Would stay there again.
