If you're looking for a peaceful, lakefront getaway where you can choose to either relax at home with your feet up or head out in a boat or kayak for exciting days on the water, tick off both boxes here at this absolutely charming, two-story lake house!

Step inside and discover a number of classic features combined with plenty of modern touches. Stock up your fridge and prepare your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, eat-in kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, and then dine indoors at the kitchen table, in the formal dining area, or outside on your furnished deck. This home also includes a furnished sunroom, a cozy main living area with a TV for streaming your favorite channels, and a small room with a view off the primary bedroom upstairs - a wonderful spot for morning coffee or lazy afternoons with a good book and a mug of tea. Outside, cast a line from the dock or paddle off in one of the provided watercraft , You'll also find a gas grill for summertime barbecues and a lakeside firepit.

It was wonderful! Beautiful view. The only complaint we have is that it has a musty smell. We could only think it was because the cottage is old. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Place to Stay

The house was warm, cozy and a great fit for me and my 2 young kids. The views across the lake are stunning.It was a budget friendly price, enjoyable and im looking forward to staying there again.

We loved the lake cabin. Property was clean and well taken care of. My daughter loved the upstairs sitting room overlooking the lake. We would stay there again.

Very nice place along the lake to unwind and relax. Any inquiries were promptly answered. The place was very clean and dog friendly - our dog had a great time running around the yard and hanging out by the bonfire. The beds were not the most comfortable but other than that the experience was great. If you enjoy looking at the stars, the view at night was top notch compared to what we're used to seeing back home.

May family trip with dogs

My family, including dogs, stayed for 4 nights. The weather was cold and windy but the house was warm and comfortable. Loved sitting in the sunroom, the kitchen was well stocked, entertainment (TV and games) plentiful, claw tub very cool. Convenient to Portland and LLBean. Great hiking trails in Windham. Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful lakeside therapy

Perfect location near Portland but, calm and peaceful. Very nice having kayaks and paddle boards to use. Well stocked kitchen, great deck with a grill and a fire pit.

A beautiful home in great location with all the amenities needed to be comfortable. Enjoyed it so much , we are looking to rent it for a week next time!

Great Place with a Great View and Ambience

Three ladies enjoyed four days at this property which was very peaceful and relaxing. Loved sitting down by the lake, roasting marshmellows and hotdogs with the bonfire, while watching the geese, ducks, and chippies. The house has lots of room with plenty of places for everyone to gather together. Will definitely stay here again!

Maine Lake House

We enjoyed a private getaway with our dog! It was relaxing and felt just like a summer home should. Plenty of heat and blankets on the cooler evenings! The sunrise was spectacular.

Peaceful paradise

a peaceful, beautiful cabin with a gorgeous lake front setting. This is a very old cabin that has been updated/renovated but done so that the old fashioned feeling is still present. Would love the opportunity to stay here again!

Great lake house

The house was good for 4 adults and 2 kids, it was clean and well stocked. It stayed warm during the colder nights. The check in and check out was really chill. The lake was beautiful!

Yellow claw foot tub?

If you really like a rustic visit, this house is great. Our adult children found it an adventure. I didn’t have to climb the steep steps but that tub in downstairs bath felt like standing up in a rowboat. Not because it moved but since it wasn’t flat inside, it felt like it.
