You're just a short drive from the charming towns of Terra Alta (10 minutes) and Oakland (15 minutes). For a full day of fun, hit the slopes at Wisp Ski Resort or explore the shores of Deep Creek Lake, both just 35 minutes away. Nature lovers will be in awe of the ancient forests and majestic waterfalls at Cathedral State Park (WV) and Swallow Falls State Park (MD), both within a 30-minute drive. Of course, you don't even have to leave the resort to have your choice of outdoor activities.

Alpine Lake encompasses almost 2,000 acres of wooded land, 150 acre lake with a beach, 35 miles of paved roads, 17 miles of hiking/biking trails, an 18-hole golf course with driving range and a Lodge with an indoor pool/gym. It offers dozens of amenities including kayaking, fishing, golfing, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, pickleball, dining, and so much more! The beach is free to all guests and is about a 2 min drive from the house (though walkable, it’s a very steep walk back). Kayaking, paddle boating, golfing, etc. are seasonal and additional $. The summer seasonal activities go until November 1.
