Terrasse et solarium exclusifs Gabriella, vue imprenable sur la ville

Appartement spacieux et confortable au troisième étage (sans ascenseur) d'un palais médiéval au coeur de Lucques, près de l'impressionnante Piazza Anfiteatro, un symbole de la ville, dans les anciens murs de la ville.
Récemment rénové et meublé confortablement et fonctionnel; Grand salon avec parquet (TV, DVD, chaîne stéréo), cuisine, 1 chambre double avec salle de bain en suite (bain / douche + salle de bain), 1 chambre avec lit français, 1 chambre simple, 1 salle de bain familiale avec douche. Un escalier intérieur dans le salon mène au grenier avec un deuxième grand salon, avec une salle de bain et une chambre double avec air conditionné. De là, en montant quelques marches, vous entrez dans la «tour» qui rend cet appartement «unique» et spécial! Au sommet de la tour, il y a une terrasse et un solarium exclusif, ouvrant sur une vue imprenable à 360 ° sur toute la ville, ce qui rend la maison de GABRY vraiment exclusive!

Moustiquaire et Air-co dans toute la zone à l'exception du salon mansardé et de la cuisine. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur.

Une carte de stationnement dans le parking couvert de Mazzini peut être fournie sur demande.

À une rue de l'appartement, vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin: supermarché, boulangerie, boucherie, cave, café, magasins et pharmacie. Vous pouvez louer des vélos dans de nombreux endroits près de l'appartement et les beaux murs de Lucques sont à quelques pas de la maison.

Amazing!!!

This property is so unique. Our family of 5 loved everything about it! Gabriella (the owner) was very helpful and accommodating with everything from transportation from the train station to helping with our activity planning. The apartment is spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Our favorite feature was the rooftop terrace with spectacular views of Lucca. Can’t wait to visit again!!!

I can not say enough good things about Gabry’s home in Lucca. It was perfect! We were a family of 7 and had plenty of room. The location could not have been better, and the home was clean, well equipped and spacious. Gabriella was an incredible host, who met us upon arrival with treats, water and champagne. And when we left she drove all of our luggage to the train station for us, which was so kind. Stay here, you will love it! A few things to note: It is on the top story (with an incredible rooftop!) so if you are not capable of stairs, I would be cautious. The market/grocery is a 1 minute walk, with the plaza and square with plenty to eat a 2 minute walkThe street is quiet, and such a lovely place to visit! I would stay here again and again! Thank you Gabriella!

This apartment was the best part of our entire trip to Italy! Best place we have ever stayed, by far. Gabry was amazing. Responsive, caring, accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this property. Very spacious, even better than described. This description does not do justice to how nice this apartment is. There are no words for the beauty of the terrace. We enjoyed it very much every night. Extremely clean, felt like home, but better! Our family of six could not have been happier and all agree this was our favorite place to be.

Fantastic location in walled city of Lucca

Home from home Italian style. Spacious accommodation with fantastic roof terrace overlooking the city. The pictures don't do it justice. The owner Gabriella could not have been more helpful, picking us up from station, advising on great places to eat and to visit.

2nd time, still amazing

This is the second time we have stayed at Gabriella's house and it was just as amazing an experience as the first. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is a lovely place to cook and you can't beat the location in Lucca. The rooftop terrace makes it all worth it. Gabriella is incredibly easy to work with, checking us in, giving us travel advice and making sure we were okay throughout our visit. We look forward to our third trip!

Wonderful!!!

Gabriella is an amazing, helpful host. Her property is so clean and so nice and is in a great location. We spent 12 wonderful days enjoying her apartment and enjoying beautiful Lucca. We would definitely stay there again!! We are all over 70 and the 4 flights of stairs did not bother us at all. I highly recommend Gabriella as a host and as an extremely nice person. Thank you Gabriella for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect location, apartment and host

Our family of four with daughters aged 12 and 9 years old had a great week in Lucca. Gabriella is a great host and even delivered our luggage from and to our car which was in the nearby parking garage. Our daughters loved the loan of Gabriella's daughter's bike for the week and the toy room upstairs was a big hit. The apartment is beautiful. It is the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in. You can't beat having dinner on the rooftop tower terrace. The views are amazing.

More than we expected

I stayed in this lovely apartment in Lucca for a week with 5 other adult family members and enjoyed everything it had to offer. We cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen, had great laundry space, and a deck that was breathtaking. It is in the walls of Lucca and has easy access to the whole walled town. We happened to be there when the spring music festival was going on and we were able to enjoy it both from restaurants in the plaza and from our rooftop deck. Lucca is definitely on my lists of towns to visit again and this is the place that is on the top of my list to rent again.

Lucca Visit

Our group of 5 had a wonderful stay at Gabriella’s apartment. Well situated for everything in Lucca, this apartment made moving about the old walled city a breeze. The well equipped kitchen was perfect for breakfast, the living area and bedrooms were sized perfectly. Even though the weather wasn’t great we enjoyed several meals on the terrace which offered outstanding views of Lucca. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Gabriella is an outstanding hostess, even helping with our luggage both into and out of the apartment!! She was very welcoming and helpful!! Can not praise this place enough!!

Lovely, well-equipped apartment with spectacular view

We loved this apartment and would stay here again. The owner, Gabriella, was terrific. She was honest, accommodating, friendly, and extremely helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get anywhere in the old town on foot. The kitchen had everything we needed. We just loved having afternoon cocktails on the rooftop patio, with its 360° views. As advertised, this apartment is definitely not the place for someone who has difficulty with stairs, but other than that, it was a wonderful place to spend 10 days in Lucca!

What a gem!!

Gabriella was wonderful to work with over the years as we originally scheduled to visit in 2020!! The house is perfect!! Large enough for our group of friends and family and right in the heart of Lucca. Had to have at least 30 restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The grocery store was 50 yards from the house. Gabriella gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and a tour company that we worked with for our trips to Cinque Terre, Montepulciano and a Truffle Hunting experience. They also provided us transfers to the airport in Pisa. Lucca itself is a wonderful city but Gabriella made it special. Can't wait to go back!!

Fantastic roof terrace with 360° view, good for large family, inside walls downtown, well maintained

3 generations spend Easter break 2018 in Gabriella’s lovely apartment, privacy for all 3 generations with separate sleeping rooms and bathrooms 3 reasons for staying here 1. Roof terrace offering 360° views of Lucca & mountains 2. Central location inside the walls - close to restaurants, shopping, backers and the famous Piazza dell’ Anfiteatro and good for morning runs on the walls 3. Very well maintain - bathrooms, sleeping rooms etc and yet still with old Tuscany fashion charm And not to mention the extremely lovely host Gabrialla who even picked up the grand parents in the airport 2 things to be aware off - it is on top floor and have 3 flood of stairs and additional 2 floors to get to roof terrace. Secondly as this is as central as it gets the parking is 1km away. Can highly recommend this place and would stay here again if we are coming to the region (not only the city as this is close to both Pisa and Florence and the mountains) Danish Family - 3 generations Christer

Great Apartment In A Wonderful City

Gabriella was a gracious host for our seven day visit to Lucca. While steps are required to reach her apartment, the rewards are many. The apartment was clean and spacious with lots of character. Three full bathrooms were great for helping our group of seven get ready each morning. The outdoor roof terrace is a fabulous amenity. Enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks up there, any excuse to experience the amazing views. We found Lucca to be a charming town to settle in for several days. While relaxing and manageable, you would never run out of great restaurants, outdoor cafes, gelaterias, shops and cultural amenities to enjoy. We enjoyed walking around the wall each morning to people watch and exercise after so much gelato! We also arranged fun day excursions to Cinque Terre and Chianti, each about 90 minutes away. Florence and Pisa are easy to reach by train. You will love both Lucca and Gabriella's apartment!

Unforgettable stay in Lucca

My group of 3 older couples thoroughly enjoyed Gabriella's apartment. It was roomy and clean and full of character, and met all of our needs. The four flights of stone stairs, I admit, gave us our daily workouts, but we got used to them. More stairs inside took us up to a lovely rooftop terrace where we wined and dined and viewed the city at sunset. The apartment is well-situated within walking distance of the train station (with luggage, you will need a taxi), grocery, restaurants, shops, the ancient city wall, and other attractions. Just before our visit, there was some concern that the apartment might not be available for our entire stay, but the problem was resolved to our satisfaction. After our stay, a cleaner found some items that one of us had forgotten. Gabriella contacted me and graciously found a way to return them promptly, which we very much appreciated. We loved our time in Lucca and Gabriella's apartment was the perfect spot for us.

We just spent 8 days in Lucca at “Gabriella”. What a wonderful week. Gabriella’s home is on the 3rd floor of a beautiful old building in the center of Lucca. The location is perfect. You are able to walk to all the historic sites, wonderful restaurants and great shopping. There is a meat market , produce stand and a coffee shop just around the corner. Gabriella’s home is clean, confortable, well-appointed and full of character. The view from the 5th floor roof top terrace is breathtaking both during the day and the evening. The steps to the 3rd floor and then to the roof top can be a challenge, but a well planned day/outing will minimize the need for repeated entrance into the apartment. Your host, Gabriella, is charming, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She assisted with our arrival from Pisa and our departure to the local car rental. We were grateful to have such a helpful caring host with such a lovely home. The week was a real opportunity to experience the real Lucca. Thank you Gabriella.

By the way, I was wondering if you could be so kind as to tell me why the 4-star rating, because the website is not very clear on this, and for me it is very important to get feedback from my guests. on what went wrong :-) . Stop Looking, this is your place!!

We came to Lucca for a wedding with 80 other people from all over the world. Everyone kept saying we, by far, had the best place. We visited other peoples apartments in Lucca and kept saying, wow we made a good choice. The location can not be beat. It is near anything you could ever want. The views are amazing and the apartment was exactly as described. You are right off Via Fillungo that is takes seconds to get there, but far enough that it is not constant noise and traffic. For those visiting for the first time, we found Via Fillungo the street that everyone knows and has a ton of shops and is a great landmark as not to get lost. The owner, Gabriella actually picked us up from the train station so we would not get lost, that is going the extra step. From the view, to the location, to the price, to the apartment, trust me, you want to stay here. PS, you even get two bikes!!!! One of the best days of the trip was taking them out on the wall and all over town and just stopping different places to eat and have wine. That is what it is all about. Thank you Gabriella

Girls' Trip 2024

Not sure we can do it justice! From the personal greeting and tour when we arrived at the apartment, to the ease of communication when we had questions, Gabriella is a more than gracious host. She worked very hard on making sure our trip was just as we wanted and supplied loads of suggestions for restaurants, bakeries and day trips. The photos do not do the space justice - roomy, comfortable, and the 3 bathrooms are a bonus. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is a grocery store within a 3-minute walk. This was a girls' trip to mark 3 milestone birthdays. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop terrace! What an incredible feature. We had a delectable meal catered by Miss Laura. Highly suggest that!! Very generous portions! We could not finish everything. Loved the tomato bread soup, the mushroom risotto and the gnocchi with walnut sauce! The views from the terrace are incredible and watching the sunset with a glass of wine (or two) is the perfect ending to the day. Lucca is more than charming. Suggest the E-bike tour to a local winery as well as a day trip to San Gimingnano. We happened to be in Lucca during the Lucca Film Festival and caught Ethan Hawke walking the red carpet. Overlooking lovely Lucca

We stayed in Gabriella's lovely home for 10 nights, getting to know Lucca from this fantastic hub. The location is perfect, on a quiet street close to everything including a grocery store, butcher, bar (cafe) and many restaurants. Gabriella is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. The best thing about our stay was the terrace. We spent mornings drinking coffee watching the city awake and the evenings basking in incredible sunsets. It's truly special. The second best thing was the kitchen. We were able to cook in many nights and I loved it. The kitchen is very well appointed and old-worldly. The house was clean and well-maintained. The pictures don't actually do it justice. I've stayed in many rental properties and some of them feel very staged. Gabriella's house is far more personal and charming. The upstairs area is like its own little apartment, making it a perfect place for 2 couples traveling together. The windows are huge and the furnishings are comfortable. We rented a car but really, you don't need one. Many destinations are easily (if not easier) reached by train. We drove to Barga for a lovely day excursion and stopped at a winery recommended by Gabriella on the way back. She has great restaurant recommendations. It's also very easy to spend your entire day just hanging out in Lucca, walking the wall, shopping, etc. A few house tips: the stairs are many, including the ones up to the house and inside the house. It wasn't a negative for us, just something to be aware of. Also, read up on italian washing machines, it's easy to google. Gabriella has written instructions but it was helpful to us to know a bit more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to a friend and hope to return soon myself.

Fabulous apartment in Lucca

This apartment was one of the high points of our 3-week trip to Italy in Sept 2019. A high point literally and figuratively, its a top-floor apartment, 57 steps to climb, there is no lift/elevator. That is the only downside. But for that, you get a rooftop deck that has a panoramic view of the old city sections of Lucca. There is a very spacious and well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, modern bathrooms, very comfortable beds and furnishings. The neighborhood was very quiet at night during our stay. The location is stellar, less than 200 meters from the Piazza Anfiteatro. Easy walk to multiple restaurants, shopping, and all sorts of activities. The landlady was extremely helpful to us and a lot of fun to chat with. She gave us many helpful recommendations. We would love to go back soon!
