I had two major careers, as a Sr. Healthcare Executive and now as a retired mortgage banker. I was one of the first homeowners to purchase and build our vacation home. For years, we used it as our get-away for school & vacation breaks with our children who are now grown up. It is a great family retreat and our home is located on the 3rd tier below the Tennis court and we are about 1 1/2 blocks Southeast on Pelicanos-Este from the beach area, for swimming, volleyball or just relaxing.

My wife, Amy & I have taken great pride in outfitting the interior with original art work from local artists in the area. As the viewer of our photos will note and reviews from our past guests, we have not overloaded our wall spaces with too much Art work. Each Art piece is uniquely selected in a placed on to itself so that the wall space around gives it more importance and meaning.

Our house was designed by my brother, an Architect and we put a lot of emphasis in bringing out the Mexican character of a traditionally constructed home. We think of it as a Modern Mexican & Contemporary vacation split-level home with High Vaulted Ceilings throughout and with an open concept Kitchen-Dining-Living room to maximize space for beach viewing from the front of the home. The Downstairs bedroom is more private & quieter with a reading area and with it's own private on-suite bathroom. Check out the blending of our vibrant tile colors which accents our themes of cobalt blue, terracotta and bright yellow, famously called "Amarillo Franz."

THE PRIVACY AND SECURITY OF LAS GAVIOTAS:
Las Gaviotas, a unique and upscale vacation community is the heart of the Baja Riviera has 24/7 security services making your stay safe and enjoyable. Many owners and guests walk & jog at all hours around the complex enjoying the cliff side promenades, known in Spanish as "Malecon." Security Officers are friendly & bilingual and regularly patrol all areas of the complex to ensure your safety.

THE BENEFITS OF A UNIQUE & SMARTLY DESIGNED HOME:
Our place is small but comfortable and is used mostly for casual light eating. For dinner, we go out to our favorite restaurants. However, for those with cooking interests, we do have a micro-wave/convention oven and a 4 burner range with a dishwasher & midsize refrigerator. There is no regular oven as our intent has always been to discourage large cooking events, ie., roasting turkeys and/or baking hams. However, on the deck, for those "grilling cooks", we have a stainless steel gas BBQ station which really compliments and separates the kitchen functions from the heavier barbecuing activities; while cooking on the deck sip a beer or a Margarita!
